Catch Up On Made In Chelsea Star – Emily Blackwell
We’re all hooked on Chelsea’s exclusive socialites crew. It’s hard to keep up with all the drama, but we can’t seem to take our eyes off the screen. And for good reason too! The entertaining show celebrates its 11th season this year. With a couple of original cast members leaving the show, since 2011, a fan favorite Made in Chelsea star Emily Blackwell continues to make an appearance.
Background of Chelsea Star Emily Blackwell
Emily Blackwell was born on November 20, 1996. She joined the show later on in 2016. Blackwell is of course known as a beautiful model turned actress who is even envied by many girls for bagging the King of Dancing on Ice, Harvey Amstrong.
Although she had a strong model background, it wasn’t until she joined Made in Chelsea with other famous co-stars when her name became more known all over the globe.
She’s come a long way since joining the show. At the age of 25, Blackwell is the director of her own lingerie brand, UYC London.
Relationship Status
Although Blackwell is still seen with Harvey as seen on her latest Instagram post it’s never that straightforward in Chelsea is it?
With past drama is brewing when Harvey – Habb’s ex started showing an interest in Emily. Blackwell and Harvey were already mates with Habb’s prior to joining the show. Tension and drama sparked as Harvey and Emily were getting to know each other. But then again, when isn’t there drama brewing?
It was also previously rumoured that Emily was dating Love Island’s Chris Hughes, when the pair were spotted hanging out with some of the Chelsea lot.
There hasn’t been proof of a potential spark between Hughes and Blackwell so it’s safe to assume the couple was never together.
Emily’s known to be a laid-back kind-of-gal who gets along with guys more than girls. With the exception of her true best friend, Lottie Moss, Kate Moss’ sister.
Another potential spark Blackwell almost had was with fellow co-star Alex Mytton. Turns our he ended up with her best friend, Lottie instead.
Let’s not forget about Jake Quickenden, a past X-Factor contestant. For no exact reason, the pair went their separate ways as well.
Luckily, Chelsea star Emily Blackwell found a good match with Harvey as the couple has been going strong despite the past drama.
Drama in Paradise
In case you aren’t caught up with Chelsea, one of the recent episodes features Emily and Harvey arguing about the future. Possibly the most common discussion between couples is whether or not having children is part of their plan.
Emily tells co-stars Tiffany Watson and Ollie Locke how much she wants a baby. To that, Tiffany asks if she’s shared her goal and dream of having children with Harvey.
Emily then tells Harvey about her broodiness, but he responds by saying he doesn’t see himself having children in his 20s.
Later on, she claims she doesn’t want to waste time with someone who doesn’t see themselves having children.
Where is the couple now?
It seems the couple worked out their kinks as they’ve been going strong ever since lockdown.
Emily has been quarantined with her love, Harvey, which seemed to do great for their relationship. They’re stronger than ever and somehow even solidified their rocky relationship on the show.
A year past the pandemic, after lockdown, the pair are always seen featured on each other’s Instagram posts with verbally affectionate captions about each other. How cute can they get?
Nowadays, Emily is seen thriving with her career post-quarantine. She’s been placing her focus on vlogging, collaborating with big brands, and traveling around the continent with her beau.
Over on Harvey’s Instagram, his last post with girlfriend Emily is of them striking a hot pose on a boat while on vacation. He shares a hilarious caption saying, “Yeah yeah yeah we’re still about @emily_blackwell_ back tonight with @e4chelsea.”
