Television presenter and actor Bradley Walsh is famous for many reasons. From being the familiar host of ITV’s The Chase, to co-starring alongside his son Barney in Bradley Walsh & Son: Breaking Dad. He also appeared in the UK’s Law and Order, as well as Coronation Street! Besides his roles on TV, did you know that Bradley Walsh is also famous for dating the late Irish actress and singer Bernie Nolan? Bradley Walsh and Bernie Nolan
Today, Bradley Walsh is blissfully married to his wife, Donna Derby. They live in Epping, in a large family home. Walsh and Donna are married since 1997, and together they have a son, the now-famous Barney Walsh.
But before this peaceful life, the TV presenter’s romantic history was filled with scandals.
Some of you might remember his relationship with the famous Irish celebrity, Bernie Nolan.
She was the second youngest sister of the girl group, the Nolans.
Bernie Nolan’s sister, Coleen Nolan introduced Bradley Walsh to her, and her then-husband Shane Ritchie.

Nolan wrote:
“They took me to see him in a show. Afterwards we chatted for the first time.”
“It was a bit embarrassing because I already knew he fancied me, but it was awkward in a nice way.”
“From that evening we were together. We never argued, we went for picnics in the Lake District and everything about our relationship seemed great when it was just the two of us.”
Bradley Walsh’s romantic scandals
Unfortunately, Walsh just couldn’t keep his hands out of the cookie jar (over and over again). And it seemed like everywhere the TV presenter went, there’s always a woman around.
That is However, until she caught him!
Nolan left utterly heartbroken but still forgave him thinking that he was the love of her life. She also said that he was “full of remorse and apologies”.
She continues in the autobiography:
“It went on like that for ages. In the end, I relented again. I really thought Brad and I would marry and it’d be for keeps. Mum even took me out shopping to look at wedding dresses.”
In the end, though, she ended the relationship. Walsh wanted to “still be mates”. To which Nolan replied:
“I didn’t want to be your mate. I wanted to be your wife.”
Nice.
Moving on
Bernie went on to marry drummer Steve Doneathy and together they had a daughter, Erin.
Meanwhile, Walsh went on to find happiness with his wife Donna.
Tragically, Bernie Nolan died in 2013, when she was just 52 years old, after a tough battle with cancer.
Bradley Walsh seems to have changed his ways as he chooses to have a more private and less scandalous life with his wife and son.
His adventures from now on, as it may seem, looks more like jumping out of planes with his son!
