The 46-year-old TV star has admitted that he’s looking for “The One”, but his career will always be a focus.

“I think my career will always be a focus for me, but I also want the right balance with my personal life.

Adil also shared his struggles as a singleton during the pandemic- and worries about what may lie ahead when we finally return to normality!
“I’ve been single for a long time. When the first lockdown happened, I thought it would be OK because we’d be back out and dating by Christmastime.
It’s frustrating. Even if you get introduced to somebody and you’re chatting to them online, how long do you do that for?
I’m slightly worried about what we’ll all be like when we come out of this… I might jump on the Amazon delivery driver.”
Career
Adil may not have found love just yet, but he’s been busy forging a very successful career.
The TV star was born in 1974, and grew up in Yardley Wood, Birmingham, England with his Kenyan-born mother Nargis.
Adil then started his career as a radio host on a pirate radio station while studying at the University of Huddersfield.
In 2002, the comedian joined the BBC Asian Network to present the late night Adil Ray Show, and went on to present radio and TV shows for the broadcaster.

Piers Morgan Wife: Who is the former Good Morning Britain presenter married to?
Adil’s big break came when his comedy show featuring his character of Mr Khan hit the big time, and the BBC commissioned his show for a full-scale TV series. This, of course, was the BBC comedy Citizen Khan.
The actor then went on to temporarily replace Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain, and now covers for the main presenters during the summer break. He also presents ITV quiz show Lingo.
The TV star’s net worth is estimated to be an impressive £5 million.
