Who is Beverley Sharp?
Woodyatt’s ex-wife was formerly a dancer. The pair met in 1993 and then dated for a year before making it official.
In 2017 the couple launched their own company together called Neat Gin and they both remain co-founders of the company.
Why did they split?
2020 was a year of celebrity break ups, and unfortunately Ian Beale and Beverley Sharpe were no different.
The former dancer was left completely shaken when her husband of 22 years walked out on the marriage. It wasn’t just the public that was left astounded when the EastEnders actor Ian Beale secretly split from his wife.
The split, which was portrayed as amicable at the time had much more going on behind the scenes than was originally thought.

The couple, who married in 1998 at a private ceremony in Disneyland and have 2 children together, secretly split in August 2020 when Adam walked out with no explanation.
Understandably Beverley was left devastated and confused. Her silence on the matter was upheld purely for the sake of their children.
The divorce was announced in 2020, but Beverley still kept her stoic silence. A source claimed that the split was anything but amicable and by January 2021 the divorce had become increasingly messy.
A source reported that when Adam walked out of the family home a year ago, Beverley had no idea where he had gone, or why he had left.
What is Adam Woodyatt’s ex-wife doing now?
Dancer Beverley has since been focusing on herself since the shock split. Both she and Adam remain single since the split, despite reports that Adam was involved with a third party. According to a source, Beverley believed the split must have been provoked due to Adam being involved with another woman and the star did not believe his denials on the matter.

Since the split Adam took a back seat and has been taking a break from his busy life in a pretty unusual way. The actor is currently living in a field in Devon in a motorhome. After he broke up with his wife, he also took a break from his role, playing Ian Beale in the BBC soap.
EastEnders’s has let the actor take an extended 10-month holiday while his character recovers from being poisoned. The soap actor first joined the show in 1885 on the first episode that was ever aired. He now remains the longest serving actor on EastEnders, and one of the highest paid actors of the show.

Since Adam Woodyatt divorced his wife, his career break has been anything but a holiday, as he prepared for his nationwide tour, where he is a cast member of the play adaptation of Peter James’ bestseller Looking Good Dead. The motorhome, which at first provoked some confusion, was an alternative to staying in multiple hotels whilst on tour. Due to Covid the show has been postponed multiple times, however Adam has been enjoying time in his field none-the-less.
