It isn’t all doom and gloom for 2021 because it’s been officially confirmed… Selling Sunset will be back! Nobody knows our taste better than Netflix, and it seems the streaming platform understood the persistent call for a dramatic and glam real estate show set against the backdrop of sunny LA.
And the good news is that the sun won’t be setting on this show any time soon.
So with Season 4 on the horizon, here’s everything we know so far!
Season 3 Recap
Before we jump into Season 4 excitement, let’s have a quick recap of Season 3 – a season which made sure to include the level of real estate drama we’ve become accustomed to (and deserve). The third season opened up after newlyweds Mary Fitzgerald and Romain Bonnet had officially tied the knot.

The show then went on to focus on another exciting wedding build-up: that of Christine Quinn, set against more emotional rollercoasters including a custody battle and a divorce (though fortunately this didn’t put Christine off her own wedding). Alongside that was lots of real estate drama, of course – they do have a day job after all!
[rtk_adunit_bottom]
How Did Season 3 End?
In a shocking and disappointing move, the show decided to only air 15 MINUTES of Christine’s fabulous wedding (not really fair to say that Mary’s wedding had a whole season build up in Season 2, double standards!). Though, luckily, we did get to see Christine find her happy ever after in the final episode of the season.

The happy occasion did include some drama, though – naturally – in the form of Chrishell tearing off her mic and storming out after Davina just wouldn’t quit about the divorce questions. Luckily, this still didn’t detract from the amazing winter-wonderland-slash-gothic wedding affair that was Christine’s happy day. Top it off with Heather catching the bouquet, and it’s a satisfying end to the season.

When Will Season Four Premiere?
We know you’re probably wanting to book hefty time off work to binge watch and clear your calendars of other plans, but unfortunately there’s no official news yet about when Season 4 will premiere on Netflix. While the final episode of Season 3 – A Not So White Wedding – left us thirsting for more back in August 2020, it may be a while yet.

[rtk_adunit_middle]
Filming for Season 4 is said to be planned for Spring 2021, so not long to wait until it officially starts filming, at least, even if we can’t binge it yet. But more happy news – the show has also been renewed for Season 5! So even if we have a long wait for the next season, at least we know there’s more glam real estate times to come after that.

So Who’s Officially Returning?
If you’re looking for mention of your favourite real estate agent (or maybe even your least favourite, for entertainment value), we have you covered! Officially returning for season 4 will be: Chrishell Stause, Heather Rae Young, Maya Vander, Amanza Smith, Jason Oppenheim, Christine Quinn, Mary Fitzgerald and her husband, Romain Bonnet.

[rtk_adunit_middle]
If you’re panicking because you haven’t seen Davina and Brett’s name there, don’t worry – there’ll still be returning, but there have been a few changes regarding those two, including Davina finding a new career, and Brett starting his own real estate business. You can find more details on this later in the article.

Heather Caught The Bouquet… But Is She Getting Married?
Yes, she is! Heather Rae Young is now officially engaged to her partner Tarek El Moussa, which happened after the finale of Season 3 – and means a potentially great start for Season 4. Could another wedding on the show be about to happen?
[rtk_adunit_top]

[rtk_adunit_middle]
And it seems that one amazing engagement ring wasn’t enough for Heather, as she’s recently had a ring ‘upgrade’ from Tarek, revealing lots of extra sparkles. Heather admits that the pair designed the ring together, which means plenty of chance to see it up close and personal once Season 4 airs. Tarek proposed after the couple’s one year anniversary.
[rtk_adunit_bottom]
And There’ll Be More Of Heather’s Fiancé In Season 4!
HGTV star Tarek El Moussa is set to make an appearance in Season 4, at Heather’s side. (Besides, they both deserve to show off that engagement ring, don’t they?) While it’s not yet sure whether Heather and Tarek’s official wedding ceremony will take an episode slot of Season 4, there’s still sure to be a lot of focus on their relationship.

[rtk_adunit_middle]
We highly expect the show to reveal Heather enjoying her engagement and planning her wedding – and, happy news, Tarek is now allowed to formally show his face on the show (after previously being unable to due to another contract). As Tarek is set to now officially become part of the real estate family with his soon-to-be-wife, it’d be rude not to see him!

Is Maya Moving to Miami?
Rumours are abound that Maya could be leaving the show and moving to Miami (and we wouldn’t blame her for that!). But are these only rumours? Is the mom of two actually on board with the next season of Selling Sunset? Or has she had her day in the sun?
[rtk_adunit_top]

[rtk_adunit_middle]
Maya has now officially spoken out to let fans of the show know that she’s not going anywhere (hurray!). She won’t be leaving the Oppenheim Group any time soon. While focusing on Miami based clients and real estate, she has no immediate plans to leave Jason and the show behind, despite being extra busy with her family.
[rtk_adunit_bottom]
So What About Season 4’s Chrishell?
There may be a lot in store for newly-single Chrishell following her divorce. She now has the potential to focus on selling sublime houses, finding new love, or all of the above! Chrishell has been dropping hints, however, about potential for exploring greener pastures in the form of an all-women working environment.
[rtk_adunit_top]

[rtk_adunit_middle]
She’s admitted that it’s hard working for a man, and maybe seeking an all-female environment is what she needs after splitting from her husband, too. It may be a lot for Chrishell to handle seeing Christine enjoy newly-wedded bliss whilst still going through a painful divorce. Whatever Chrishell decides to do, we hope she’s taking care of number one first.
[rtk_adunit_bottom]
And It Seems Chrishell Has More To Give
Since her heavily spotlighted divorce from This Is Us star Justin Hartley, Chrishell has been keeping very busy (understandably so) even aside from preparation for Season 4 of the hit real estate show. Chrishell has tried her hand at another reality TV show – but something a little different this time!
[rtk_adunit_top]

[rtk_adunit_middle]
Chrishell joined the cast of Dancing With the Stars, gaining success for 8 solid weeks with her dance partner, Gleb Savchenko. And it seems that she’s not cut herself off completely from romance, either, with hints that she has had a couple of slides into her DMs, which we’re sure hasn’t been hindered by her appearance on the dance show!
[rtk_adunit_bottom]
But Could Chrishell Be Dating a Dancing Pro?
There’s certainly no doubt that appearing in a dance competition makes it possible to become very close to a fellow dance partner, in such an intimate and lively atmosphere, after all. There are rumours that Chrishell could be dating fellow Dancing With The Stars performer, Keo Motsepe.
[rtk_adunit_top]

[rtk_adunit_middle]
The pair have certainly been looking extremely cosy based on recent Instagram snaps, and we’re sure that if the pair are very much loved up, Keo could be making an appearance on Season 4 of the hit reality TV show, if he’s going to support his new girlfriend! Could we be seeing more as their relationship unfolds?

Does Brett Have A New Brokerage?
The Oppenheim Group, which originally included twin brothers Jason and Brett (incase you thought you were seeing double), now only has the one brother. Brett has now left the original broker firm, and had his name completely removed from the official website. But is it because of bad blood?
[rtk_adunit_top]
[rtk_adunit_middle]
It seems that there’s no hard feelings there, as Brett has opened his own real estate firm, Oppenheim Real Estate, without any evident fall out with his twin brother. Apparently the two still get along and work together on some stuff, but perhaps Brett just needed to break away from the firm.
[rtk_adunit_bottom]
Brett Will Still Appear In The Next Season
Fans of Brett, don’t despair! Despite officially leaving the original brokerage, Brett will still show his face on the next season of Selling Sunset. While details of his appearance aren’t clear, we expect it’s just for general support and catch ups with his brother, Jason.
[rtk_adunit_top]

[rtk_adunit_middle]
Although, perhaps the show will reveal Jason and Brett still working on various real estate tasks together, despite Brett operating under another firm. Just because they’re no longer one doesn’t mean they can’t collaborate, after all!
[rtk_adunit_bottom]
What Happened To Davina Portratz?
Since Season 3 ended in 2020, Davina has officially revealed that she will be leaving the Oppenheim Group. Fortunately, though, this doesn’t mean we’ll no longer see her face in Season 4, as it’s been revealed she’ll still make an appearance!
[rtk_adunit_top]
[rtk_adunit_middle]
The manner of her appearance isn’t yet clear, though… will the cameras be following her for sneak peaks of her new venture, or will she be dropping in on her days off to see how her old comrades are getting along without her? Whatever the show has planned, it’s certainly set to feature Davina.
[rtk_adunit_bottom]
Davina’s New Role… At A Rival Real Estate!
With Davina set to return, it might be that the show is setting up a little tension and conflict due to Davina’s decision to join rival real estate company, Douglas Elliman, after choosing to leave Oppenheim. Davina leaving to follow new dreams is one thing, but to have new dreams at a rival real estate gig is another…
[rtk_adunit_top]

[rtk_adunit_middle]
We’re sure it’ll make for great TV though! Maybe Davina and the Oppenheim gang will have to face off to win clients? Watch this space! Speaking of her new venture, Davina has made it clear that it wasn’t done out of spite, but was purely an offer that was too good to turn down. She’s admitted she didn’t want to leave Oppenheim, but the new deal was just too good!
[rtk_adunit_bottom]
The Oppenheim Group Is Set To Expand
Season 4 may have a focus on the real estate company’s expansion, too, as Jason has made the decision that he wants bigger and better! In November 2020, Jason confirmed that a second office will be opening in sunny Newport Beach, California!
[rtk_adunit_top]

[rtk_adunit_middle]
And while you might have initially thought one brother could run the original office, while the other could move over to the new office in Newport Beach, Brett’s recent departure has proved that idea impossible. Instead, Jason has chosen someone else to work the new office…
[rtk_adunit_bottom]
Heather Rae Young To Work In New Office
It seems that Heather is to be a very lucky woman in Season 4, as not only is she recently engaged with a wedding to look forward to, but she’s also been chosen by Jason to work the new office in Newport Beach! Definitely a great start to the year for this real estate agent…
[rtk_adunit_top]

[rtk_adunit_middle]
Heather will transfer all her duties over to the new office and concentrate on listings in the new area. Helping her along the way will be Jason’s high school bestie, Matthew Peters, who has been chosen to manage the Newport Beach office, which is based around an hour away from the original Sunset Boulevard location.
[rtk_adunit_bottom]
But The New Office Deal Isn’t Final Yet
While it certainly sounds optimistic with Jason having it all planned out, it’s not actually official yet. Perhaps the beginning of Season 4 will see Jason finally closing the deal on the new office? Or perhaps it will all be finalised before the show’s premiere? Either way, we’re certain the new office is the real deal.
[rtk_adunit_top]

[rtk_adunit_middle]
And you can already imagine the sort of drama and fallout the new opportunity might cause between Heather and her fellow real estate agents who didn’t get chosen to head out to the new digs… With Christine and Heather especially failing to end Season 3 on the best of terms, could these two be heading for an argument or two?
[rtk_adunit_bottom]
Can We Expect More Focus On Mary And Romain?
As fans will know, this show is less about selling, and more about showcasing – and we’re not even talking about real estate! We’re talking the personal lives of the main cast, of course! Because who doesn’t want all the latest gossip about the relationships of these main cast members?
[rtk_adunit_top]
[rtk_adunit_middle]
As we saw Mary and Romain tie the knot in previous seasons, it only follows that we can expect to see a lot more of their married life in the next season. As the couple are still definitely going strong after their TV wedding aired, it’s certain that their relationship will get lots more screen time, as fans will want to see what they’re getting up to!
[rtk_adunit_bottom]
Will We See More Of Heather And Christine’s Little Spat?
With Heather’s recent happy engagement to Tarek also came negative comments from Christine about their relationship. Christine notably compared Heather and Tarek’s relationship to that of Spencer and Heidi from a show you might have heard of called The Hills.
[rtk_adunit_top]
[rtk_adunit_middle]
While that doesn’t necessarily have to be seen as a bad thing, it was certainly intended as one by Christine when she said it, claiming Heather and Tarek are much too fond of the spotlight (well, it is a TV show after all, isn’t it?). I think it’s pretty clear we can expect more drama here, as well as Christine’s wedding invitation “accidentally” getting lost in the mail…
[rtk_adunit_bottom]
How Can I Watch Selling Sunset Season 4?
While there isn’t an official air date for the latest season yet, what’s for certain is that it will return to the streaming platform, Netflix. That means that if you haven’t yet got a subscription, you’ll need one to tune into the show!
[rtk_adunit_top]

[rtk_adunit_middle]
If you’re only just catching up with the latest now about the show, there’s still plenty of time to binge the first 3 series and catch up on all the drama! With gossip growing about the up and coming season, it’s definitely time to jump on the glam real estate train and see how these guys sell luxury!
