Married At First Sight Australia is the show that EVERYBODY is talking about right now. It’s no surprise – it’s got all the drama going on. Once you start this series you’re instantly hooked and it really keeps you on your toes because it’s so hard to predict what will happen next: love triangles, scandalous affairs, heart-warming romance – you name it.

So, if you, like the rest of us, are desperate to know what’s going on with the couples and where they are now – then here is all the gossip about what they’ve been doing and what they are up to now. Including, whether they’re still together.

40. Sam and Elizabeth – Season 6

This relationship was extremely dysfunctional and it was pretty clear from the off that it was not going to work out. In fact, for half of their time in the experiment at least one of them was absent from the show. Sam struck up a romance behind Elizabeth’s back with Ines. They spent a night together. Sam received massive backlash not just because of him being accused of his affair with Ines but also because he was accused of fat shaming Elizabeth. He quit social media for 6 months after the show.

[prebid_middle]

Elizabeth went on to appear on the show AGAIN after her disaster the first time around and she hit it off with her husband Seb Guilhaus. The pair were together for almost a year and even moved in together, but they announced their split in January 2020. She remains single for now and is focusing her energy on being an advocate for women and encouraging body positivity. As for Sam, he took some time out of the lime light. He has joined the army and recently graduated from the Kapooka Army Recruit Training program in Canberra, where he is currently living.

39. Cam and Jules – Season 6

These two were just loves young dream. There couldn’t have been a better match than these two, they hit it off straight away and both felt that they had met their perfect match. The couple soon fell in love and everything seemed to be going so perfectly that it became a running joke between the MAFS cast that they were mum and dad of the group, because they were so good together.

[prebid_bottom]

[prebid_top]

So, did this love story continue? The answer is yes. Thankfully this fairy tale wasn’t just a showmance, they have actually now tied the knot more officially. During their final vows Cam asks Jules to marry him and on a special episode of A Current Affair in November 2019, they got married. Not only that, but they are now parents. They welcomed Oliver Chase Merchant into the world on October 3rd 2020. These two are just complete couple goals.

38. Sarah and Telv – Season 5

Sarah and Telv seemed like one of the strongest (if not the strongest) couples on season 5. It all started so smoothly and it seemed like the couple were headed for a long and successful marriage together. They were clearly attracted together and seemed to get on like a house on fire. But the cracks stared to show and the couple started rowing over seemingly very small things. It seemed there was trouble in paradise with these two.

[prebid_middle]

[prebid_bottom]

After the show, things clearly went rapidly downhill and the pair split, it ended up very sour indeed. The pair actually got Apprehended Violence Orders against each other to stop each other speaking publicly about one another. None of us were expecting that. Now both Sarah and Telv remain single. Telv briefly dates someone after their split in March 2019, and his girlfriend at the time became pregnant. So Telv is now a dad of 3. Sarah seems to be enjoying her time with her friends and has no boyfriend on the cards for the moment.

37. Charlene and Patrick – Season 5

This couple were pretty strong contenders when it came to looking like they would make their marriage work. But they weren’t without their obstacles. The pair were very different. Charlene was loud and fiery, and Patrick was pretty much the exact opposite. He was quiet, gentle and soft. I guess sometimes opposites don’t attract because they split after the show. Patrick actually pretty much ghosted Charlene after filming ended.

[prebid_top]

[prebid_middle]

She said they were at very different stages of life and Charlene still wanted to enjoy being young and socialising and hanging out with friends. Which now she is doing exactly that. She’s been spending lots of time having fun with her friends and is embracing single life. She hasn’t found anyone yet and is in no rush to, when the time is right it’ll happen. Similarly, Patrick remains single and he is waiting for the one to come along but until then, he’s content doing his own thing and concentrating on family and his work.

36. Tracey and Dean – Season 5

This was without a doubt THE most turbulent relationship of season 5. We all felt for Tracey when Dean cheated on his wife with Davina. Despite working through their problems after he decided to end the affair with Davina, Tracey in the end felt that she deserved more. Which many people watching the show at the time felt too.

[prebid_bottom]

[prebid_top]

She then had a brief relationship with Sean Thomsen from the show, before getting back with her ex-boyfriend Patrick Kedemos. The pair later split and she reunited with Nathan ‘Nate’ Constable. Now, she is actually expecting a baby with her partner and the pair are so excited to welcome their little boy in the world. Thankfully, Tracey got the relationship she deserved in the end. As for Dean, well he’s still living his bachelor lifestyle for now.

35. Michael and Scarlett – Season 4

Unfortunately, as the saying goes – the course of true love never runs smooth – and would it really be MAFS if it did? Probably not (unless you’re Jules and Cam). Stripper Michael married the aspiring author Scarlett. Both were 30 when they tied the knot. It got off to a rocky start when Michael decided to keep the fact that he used to be a stripper from his new wife. Scarlett eventually found out and felt betrayed that she had been lied to (it’s not the best way to start a marriage) especially after she had declared her love for her husband.

[prebid_middle]

[prebid_bottom]

The couple decided to break up soon after. Then, even more drama unfolded when Scarlett said she had received texts from Jonathan Troughton during the show. But Scarlett now works as an actress and has landed a role on one of Australia’s most loved sitcoms. She stars as Sabrina on Fat Pizza: Back in Business. Michael is also currently focus on earning money and he now charges $350 per private booking to strip for 15 minutes in your home. So, the couple has certainly embraced their new TV status.

34. Craig and Andy- Season 3

Craig and Andy met on the show’s third episode, and by the 5th they had already parted ways. The pair were on their honeymoon but due to the lack of intimacy the couple called time on their relationship and both of them left the show. This was the first same sex couple to appear on the show this far – unfortunately they weren’t in it for long.

[prebid_top]

[prebid_middle]

To this day Craig talks about how he found the show a horrendous experience and that he still suffers PTSD because of it. He talks of how the whole show was a set up and says they were asked to film scenes even after they had decided to end their very brief relationship. Things ended pretty badly between these two, hence why they only lasted three days on the show. They both remain out of the limelight and are focusing on their personal lives. I think one experience of reality TV and the spotlight was enough for this pair.

33. Ashley and Troy – Season 5

#TeamTrashley. Ashley and Troy definitely brought the comedy value to season 5. With Troy’s loveable yet slightly irritating demeanour and Ashley’s complete lack of patience it was pretty much destined to fail I’m afraid. And it did. In fact, in the final of the show it showed that Troy had now hooked up with Carly.  After 9 months together Troy and Carly called it quits.

[prebid_bottom]

[prebid_top]

Thankfully, Ashley and Troy remain good friends and still have the playful banter with each other that we loved to see on the show. Now, Troy is still single and looking for love. He’s been spotted on dating apps so the quest to find his future wife continues. As for Ash, she too remains single and is loving hanging out with her friends and enjoying the single life. She’s probably still recovering from her last marriage – I guess her next husband can wait for now.

32. Martha and Michael – Season 6

This couple look like they stepped off the pages of a magazine. Martha and Michael were one of the strongest couples from the start of season 6 – brought together by their strong mutual attraction for one another. They remained loyal throughout and stuck by each other even when they were dragged into the drama of the other couples.

[prebid_middle]

[prebid_bottom]

But it wasn’t easy to guess whether they’d stay together and make it as a real couple on the outside. Well, we can reveal they did. The couple are still going strong in 2021 so they have really proved that their love for one another was real. They’ve not been without their hiccups along the way. Rumours flew around that Martha had been spotted out and about with her ex-boyfriend. But the couple worked through it and they remain together as strong as ever. We love a happy ending.

31. Jo and Sean – Season 5

This pair got off to a very rocky start – and it pretty much went downhill from there. These two were just chalk and cheese and Sean could not get used to Jo’s loud and outgoing personality. They split early on in the series. Now, she’s been focusing on herself. She’s had a huge weight loss journey and she’s really happy with where she’s at. Her experience on MAFs has taught her huge lessons that she lives by today.

[prebid_top]

[prebid_middle]

If someone doesn’t like her, she will not try and change their mind. She’s proud of who she is and she wants her partner to love her for her. She realises that she doesn’t have to settle and so she’s still looking for that person and that fiery passionate romance. We’re sure she’ll find it. As for Sean, he is also still single and looking for the one. He’s been spotted on a dating app so it appears he hasn’t given up the search for love yet – good on him.

30. Erin and Bryce – Season 3

Yay, here we have a real-life love story. This pair are currently the longest lasting relationship in MAFS history and in 2020 they celebrated their 5th year together. This really was a match made in heaven. But since ending the show the couple have shunned the spotlight. They do not share much of their private life with us, preferring to enjoy their own lives with one another and not for the sake of everybody else.

[prebid_bottom]

[prebid_top]

Erin is quite passionate that social media is full of lies and people showing off false happiness and so she prefers to keep her relationship under wraps. Perhaps this private approach is the secret behind the couple’s long-term success together. But she did share a tribute post fairly recently to Bryce to celebrate their 5 years of being together. Erin has her own fashion label now called Boy is Mine and she also has a lifestyle blog. This couple have made MAFS history.

29. Davina and Ryan – Season 5

Okay, so here we have the most controversial of all the MAFS characters – Davina Rankin. We all fell in love with Ryan on the show because of his loveable and down to earth nature. When Davina cheated on him with Dean it left everybody scandalised. Thankfully, Davina has actually been on the biggest journey of all the Married at First Sight cast. It seems she’s grown a lot since her time on the show.

[prebid_middle]

[prebid_bottom]

She is now completely settled down with her boyfriend Kaxon Manuel. And, they have their first child together, Mila-Mae who was born in November 2019. So, she is now a committed girlfriend and mother and seems very happy and settled with her new life. As for Ryan, he was single until very recently. Now, he has a girlfriend named Melina Vendler. His first date was a romantic beach trip to Byron bay where they really seemed to hit it off. Not long after their romance was confirmed. Melina, is an actress whose biggest role was starring as Shay Turner in 800 words.

28. Jessika and Mick – Season 6

Well, things got pretty messy for Mick and Jess. After a slow start the couple seemed like their relationship could go somewhere. But it soon became clear that the feelings weren’t reciprocated by Jess and she started making moves on the other contestant’s husbands. After being rejected by Nic she set her sights on Dan. So, Jessika and Dan got together behind their partner’s backs and vowed to stick it out until the end. But there were so many cheating rumours flying about that these two split up.

[prebid_top]

[prebid_middle]

It ended pretty badly with Dan firmly denying the couple were together after the things he’d heard about her. As for Mick and Jess – that also ended badly and the pair have passed personal comments about one another and Mick branded her as fame hungry. Now, Jessica is in a relationship with Filip Poznanovic and the pair seem very happy together. Her antics on MAFS still haven’t left her though and she experiences a lot of hate on social media. Thankfully, our beloved Mick has found love with Kayla Gray and the couple spend their time in the countryside with one another.

 27. Christie & Mark  – Season 3

Two months after the filming of the show, and revealing they were staying together, the couple announced their split. Christie has revealed how much she struggled after the show and how the producers did not help her. She warns everybody who is thinking about signing up to shows like this to realise it’s about making good TV rather than finding love.

[prebid_bottom]

[prebid_top]

Mark Hughes found love 18 months after the show with Marie Angeleski and now they have their first child together. Thankfully our MAFS favourite found his happily ever after. His daughter is a few years old now and so the couple are pretty preoccupied with parenthood at the moment. As for Christie, since her MAFS experience, she has kept a much lower profile. It took her a while to get herself back on track after the show.

26. Justin and Carly – Season 5

This couple never really seemed to take off – it was all a little bit awkward and Justin definitely spent more time doting on his work life than his new wife. It was pretty clear that after their split they wouldn’t be rekindling any kind of romance. In fact, in the finale of the series it was confirmed that Carly was dating Troy and the couple seemed to be all over each other and pretty loved up. But it didn’t work out and after a few months they called it quits.

[prebid_middle]

[prebid_bottom]

Now, Carly is in a relationship with actor Neil Goldsmith who has appeared in the TV soap Neighbours. The pair seemed extremely happy together. And even bigger news – the couple have a little baby boy together who was born December 2020. His name is Bailey and the couple are totally besotted by him. Justin remains single but he is using his time as a single man to focus on his two daughters and spend time with them. It seems he has learnt to divide his work time between his personal time better.

25. Bella & Michael – Season 3

Michael’s reaction to Bella will go down in MAFS history – it was heart-warming as his face lit up with joy and relief as soon as he saw her. Despite this extremely strong start, things didn’t continue this way. Although they decided to stay together in the final ceremony, they soon ended the relationship after the show.

[prebid_top]

[prebid_middle]

They realised their natural differences were too much to make it work, she was an extrovert and he was an introvert. But now Bella has a long-term partner and they even have a dog together. For Michael, he quickly threw himself into his work, sold his fashion label and is now managing three Peter Jackson suit stores in Queensland. He also spends a lot of time with his son.

24. Lauren and Andrew – Season 4

Here is one of the most talked about couples of the whole of season 4. Okay, so this couple never even really got to the marrying stage. Because Lauren 33, jilted her husband and firefighter Andrew, 38 at the altar. Everybody’s worst fear. Thankfully, days after this the couple did reunite and she explained how everything got to her and she felt too vulnerable and afraid to go through with it.

[prebid_bottom]

[prebid_top]

Thankfully, Andrew was given a second chance with Cheryl. But that didn’t go to plan either and the pair never really hit it off. Now Lauren is with her current partner Jake Barnett, and she recently suffered a heart-breaking miscarriage at 8 weeks. Andre suffered a lot of online criticism after his second marriage with Cheryl. He revealed that he experiences PTSD from the show and he now remain very private about his feelings.

23. Jess & Dave – Season 3

Jess and Dave met and wed in Sydney during the show’s second episode. I’m not sure any of us were surprised when this couple split up. Jess had confided some of her battles with her body image and Dave had replied pretty abruptly and not exactly how you’d expect after someone reveals their deep insecurities. After a few clashes, the relationship came to a natural end.

[prebid_middle]

[prebid_bottom]

Thankfully now they have moved on. Jess has had a baby girl called Stevie Marianna with her current partner Chris Pappas. Meanwhile Dave got engaged to his girlfriend Melissa Watkins. So, all’s well that ends well – in this case. Both of them fortunately met their true matches in the end and they are both happy and are looking forward to the future with their new family’s.

22. Gabrielle and Nasser – Season 5

Nobody could’ve predicted the way this relationship went.  It started off so strong that we pretty much all thought it was destined to last. Nasser seemed like the perfect gentleman, ready to sweep Gabrielle off her feet and for a moment we thought he was. We couldn’t have been more wrong. After lulling us all into false hope things quickly turned pretty turbulent between the two and became possibly the most dysfunctional relationship of the series.

[prebid_top]

[prebid_middle]

They ended up having the most arguments on the show as they came to blows multiple times. Now Gabby remains single and is embracing single life and spending it with her daughter. As for Nasser – he’s made the most of his MAFS fame and went on Australia’s First Dates. He has no good relationships or friendships with the rest of the Married at First Sight cast. He has been using his social media platform to display his negative feelings towards the rest of the group. The rest of the gang have deemed him as trouble and there are not many good feelings left between him and the group.

21. Susan and Sean – Season 4

We were all rooting for farmer Sean and mining truck driver Susan. But the loved-up couple experienced difficulties that mainly came down to the distance as they lived in completely separate areas of Australia, and they were hesitant to relocate their lives for one another. But things totally worked out for them in the end. Susan met an older man whilst online dating.

[prebid_bottom]

[prebid_top]

The pair dated for a little while and she unexpectedly fell pregnant. She never thought she would be a mother but now she had had Ashton the new baby boy she said her whole world changed for the better. She is no longer with the father but they remain friends and she is embracing being a single mother. Sean has remarried a mystery woman who he has not yet revealed to fans who she actually is. We love a bit of mystery.

20. Dan and Tamara – Season 6

These late comers caused quite the stir within the group. At first, we all had high hopes for this couple, unfortunately, as we know, this couple was not a success story. It ended pretty much as quickly as they hit it off (very). The pair came in late and looked like the perfect couple. They hit it off very quickly and it was clear that there was an attraction there.

[prebid_middle]

[prebid_bottom]

The pair were intimate with one another and it seemed that they definitely had potential. But it turned out that Dan had a roaming eye and he instead opted for Mick’s wife Jess. Now he’s in a relationship with a girl named Mira who he said stood in his path when he least expected it. She swept him off his feet and the pair look great together. Tamara remains single and it appears that she is not looking for a relationship at the moment.

19. Mark and Monica – Season 3

Mark and Monica met and wed in Sydney in the show’s first episode. This couple had a really smooth ride, it was pretty much drama free – the couple never even argued. In fact, they always got along really well and never even really disagreed with one other. But, despite deciding to stay in the relationship in the final episode the couple split after the show ended.

[prebid_top]

[prebid_middle]

Still, at least it was a mutual and amicable split. Mark soon threw himself back into the dating life and was spotted on Tinder. He continues his quest for love. He is loving hanging out with friends and family, working and going to the gym and these are his current priorities for the time being. Monica was also keen to enter the dating world and she is still waiting for her prince charming to find her. We’re sure he will Monica.

18. Matthew and Alycia – Season 5

The fifth season of MAFS saw Mathew (32) coupled up with Alycia (29). These were set to be the forerunners of the show, they immediately stole everyone’s hearts and we were all invested in them. These two really looked like they were made for each other. After such a strong initial start it rapidly went downhill. For reasons beyond what we could see as viewers Matthew felt the pair were completely out of sync. He felt she was too innocent for him and so she didn’t get the fairy-tale marriage she had dreamed of.

[prebid_bottom]

[prebid_top]

The pair aren’t friends now and do not keep in touch. Matthew was rumoured to have a brief romance with Charlene Perera but it didn’t turn into anything serious. After the show she found love again and moved to Melbourne to be with her partner. But sadly, it didn’t work out. So now she remains single although it does look like romance could be on the cards. She has been out with Troy on several occasions and the two are really good friends. We think this could be the season 5 wedding we’re all after. Matthew has kept himself to himself after the show and remains single. Unlike many of the MAFS gang, he’s stayed off the grid social media wise.

17. Keller & Nicole – Season 3

2020 seems to be the year of the MAFS babies. Keller and Nicole met and wed in Brisbane in the show’s first episode. This couple had a VERY rocky road. It was definitely hard work for this couple but, in the final episode, they decided to stay together. After filming, the couple however, unfortunately split. But since then, Nicole found love and has been in a long-term relationship with her partner Dane.

[prebid_middle]

[prebid_bottom]

And she has announced that in June 2021 their baby is due to be born. We can’t wait. As for Keller since the show he has been enjoying living a much quieter and drama free life and has found love with his childhood sweetheart, Katie. He is also loving his job as a youth worker and he continues to work on his own clothing line. Sounds like things worked out pretty well for this couple, even if they did go their separate ways.

16. Simon and Alene – Season 4

Nurse Alene got together with business owner Simon in 2017 and they decided to stay together when it came to the decision at the end of the show. Despite a slow start the pair did try to make the relationship work, and so it did for a while. Whilst they may have been a perfect match on paper, it doesn’t always run that smoothly in reality.

[prebid_top]

[prebid_middle]

And, after the show stopped, so did the relationship. It seems there’s a reoccurring MAFS theme here. But thankfully, they did decide to remain in each other’s lives as really good friends – so that’s something. Despite the rumours that the couple had got back together again afterwards, it wasn’t true. Both of them remain single for now and they are both enjoying doing their own thing.

15. Andrew and Vanessa – Season 4

Student Vanessa, 31, was paired with Andy aged 30. Things started off well and this continued through the process, with the couple staying together all the way to the end of the experiment. However, before the final ceremony Vanessa dumped Andy in a very emotional break up. She very quickly moved on with her new boyfriend who she flaunted on social media.

[prebid_bottom]

[prebid_top]

Vanessa is also a receptionist at a Physio & Pilates studio in Melbourne, having finished her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutrition in 2018. Unfortunately, it looks as though Andrew hasn’t been as lucky in the love department since and he hasn’t updated his social media profiles since 2019. He prefers a life off the radar.

14. Lauren and Matthew – Season 6

These two had a lot of air time at the start of the show. Matthew really caught our attention because he shared with us the fact that he was a virgin at the age of 29 and had never been in a relationship or had never been intimate with a woman. So, this journey was a very big deal to him. He broadcasted the moment he lost his virginity on TV to Lauren Huntriss. And, despite this monumental moment when the pair seemed like they could be together forever, he revealed he wasn’t attracted to her in a huge shock moment.

[prebid_middle]

[prebid_bottom]

The pair then split and left the experiment much to everyone’s disappointment. Matthew has now been in a relationship with his girlfriend Bela Jameson for a few months after meeting her at his wrestling club. He is totally besotted with her. Although they’ve not been together that long they’ve certainly had their tests and have already moved in together and been travelling. As for Lauren, she is focusing on herself and is loving spending time hanging out with her friends. She has no regrets and has learned a lot from the show.

13. Ines and Bronson – Season 6

Ines caught all of our attentions with her sharp tongue and ruthless attitude. There was no pretending with this pair, as soon as Ines laid eyes on Bronson, she ruled out any chance of romance. When she learned he’s been a stripper she really didn’t hold back on her thoughts and she never gave the relationship a go despite Bronson’s perseverance.

[prebid_top]

[prebid_middle]

She struck up her romance with Sam behind Bronson’s back. This fledgling romance didn’t go anywhere as Sam found Ines too much for him. They are both currently single with Ines taking time out of the lime light and off social media due to the merciless hate she has received since the show. Whereas Bronson is embracing his new found limelight and can be seen sharing frequent shirtless selfies on his social media. Good for you Bronson.

12. Melissa and John – Season 5

This was a couple we all REALLY wanted to work. They were fun loving, happy go lucky and seemed to go together perfectly. But, shortly after filming ended for the show the couple broke up. It was not because of a drastic fight or even because they didn’t get on together. But living far apart coupled with future plans got in the way and the pair decided the relationship wasn’t going to go the distance.

[prebid_bottom]

[prebid_top]

Thankfully they remain good friends so that’s something at least. Despite not having their happy ending with each other, it seems they’ve both found it with someone else. Melissa is engaged to Fred Whiston and the pair seem truly loved up. They were due to marry but due to the pandemic things have been put on hold for now. John is also in a committed relationship to screenwriter Kenicha Hatten after meeting her at an event in Sydney in 2018. So, it’s all worked out well for one of our favourite couples, this pair deserved their happy ending.

11. Melissa and Dino – Season 6

No amount of Dino’s spiritual guidance could drive this pair together. Their apparent differences were obvious from the start and they seemed to be on totally different wave lengths. They rubbed along okay for a while but then a major bust up involving Dino recording a conversation between Melissa and her sister led to the pair separating in just week 4.

[prebid_middle]

[prebid_bottom]

Instead of finding her the one, Melissa believes they found her the one person she has absolutely nothing in common with. At least she remains really good friends with everyone from the show. She was particularly close with Jules, who actually asked her to be a bridesmaid. Jules revoked this decision however, and Melissa never found out why. She’s currently single and is focusing on her family as her dad has recently been diagnosed with cancer. As for Dino, he is also still single and is happy investing more of his time exploring his spirituality and yoga.

10. Sean and Blair – Season 5

These two never really hit it off, they tried, but there was definitely no natural chemistry between the two and everything felt pretty forced. They didn’t even get much of the air time on the show, so what are they up to now? Sean voted to leave the marriage which left Blair feeling a little bit betrayed. After the show, Sean dated Tracey Jewel for 5 months, but the pair soon split.

[prebid_top]

[prebid_middle]

Sean remains single and has recently brought out a book called Married Lies: Secrets Behind Reality TV which is a tell-all book of his time on the show. He is still angry with how the show portrayed him and blames the editing for manipulating how his personality is portrayed. Blair is now with the DJ Robbie Lowe. The pair spend their spare time together surfing which is a passion they both share.

9. Jonathan and Cheryl – Season 4

Entrepreneur Jonathan, 30, married hair salon assistant Cheryl, 25. This pair definitely did not go the mile and they decided to break up before the end of the episode.  Cheryl was left reeling when she found out about the texting scandal between Scarlett and Jonathan.

[prebid_bottom]

[prebid_top]

So thankfully Cheryl was given a second chance at finding love and so she was then paired with Andrew. But this relationship did not work and the pair also split before the final decision. She is now happy with her current boyfriend, plumber Dean Gibbs who spotted her when watching the show. So, in a roundabout way, the show did help her find love. Jonathan is still on the journey of looking for love at the moment.

8. Mike and Heidi – Season 6

We had great hope for this pair, they seemed really well matched despite having their ups and downs. At the final of the show the couple both declared their love for each other and it seemed like this could be a success. But, after a string of fiery arguments the couple decided to split after the show. Mike actually moved his whole life to the Gold Coast to be with Heidi so the commitment on both ends was definitely there.

[prebid_middle]

[prebid_bottom]

But when they moved in together things went drastically downhill. They split, moved out, and haven’t spoken since. Not exactly the ending we were all after. At the moment she’s loving single life with her horses, which is how she is spending much of her time at the moment. Two years on Mike still regrets the ending of their relationship seeing it as a missed opportunity. He speaks extremely highly of her and still misses her. But he is now in a new relationship. After a short time on Bumble, he met Sonja and they have been dating for a few months. He loves where things are going and describes her as a real sweetheart.

7. Susie and Billy – Season 6

Susie didn’t exactly hit it off with fans when she quickly deemed him weird and repeatedly told him to be normal. She also made Billy cry over his supposed lying and so viewers were left feeling angry on behalf of billy. Unsurprisingly, the pair called it quits pretty soon after they started the show.

Billy remains single for the time being but we know that whoever he ends up with will be a very lucky lady as he proved himself to be the perfect gentleman. Susie is now dating rugby star Todd Carney and they are happy together along with her daughter named Baby. But she’s removed herself from social media for a few months. She is using the time offline to focus on her daughter and her new relationship as well as get some space from the ongoing criticism she is still receiving from the show.

6. Cyrell and Nic – Season 6

Cyrell and Nic are definitely an entertaining couple to watch. But they seemed to go round and round in circles by fighting and then making up, only to start the whole process again. They kept clashing as Cyrell couldn’t manage to get past her trust issues from her betrayals in the past. The couple decided to leave the experiment in week 6.

Thankfully, Cyrell has healed in the process and she is now completely loved up with Love Island Australia star Eden Daly and they have a baby boy together – son Boston, who was born in February 2020. So, although she didn’t find the relationship she wanted from the show, it was definitely enabled through this as she then met fellow reality star Eden. Nic, has found love a different way. He may not have a romantic partner, but he is completely infatuated with his new boxer dog Buddy. That sounds like a happy ending to us.

5. Ning and Mark – Season 6

This relationship was pretty much the definition of a slow burner. It started off cool and things gradually started to heat up. Ning’s past betrayals left her very guarded and so it was through pure persistence that Mark began to slowly gain the trust of his wife. When we finally thought things were headed in the right direction and things were going well, Mark called time on their relationship. During their final vows he revealed that he would be putting an end to the relationship.

As you can imagine, this did not go down well with Ning who felt completely betrayed. But they’re moved on from this and they’re actually really good friends now. Afterall, they did spend a lot of intense time together. Mark is now with the reality star former netball player Bianca Chatfield, from the 2018 season of The Block. They have recently celebrated their second anniversary together as an official couple. They now live together in Melbourne’s St Kilda. Ning has moved on with a man named Kane Micallef, and although they have not been together long, they seem smitten with each other and recently celebrated Christmas with one another.

4. Nick and Sharon – Season 4

This couple stole everybody’s hearts as they appeared to be the dream match. The pair very quickly hit is off and they both ended up falling in love with each other. Did this last? Unfortunately for the fans of Nick and Sharon, the pair broke up within just a few months of the series ending. The couple moved in together after the show when Sharon went to Melbourne to be with him.

Sharon revealed that she did truly love Nick but after moving in with him she realised she just wasn’t in love with him. Plus, she missed her twin and her dog and eventually it all got too much and she moved back home. Soon after she started dating brand owner Julian Rosevear and set up her own wine brand with her sister. Meanwhile Nick is with his new partner Maggie Amber who he has now settled down with.

3. Nadia and Anthony – Season 4

Usually, the majority of the drama is seen on the screen. In this case it seems like the real drama started when the cameras stopped rolling. So, it turned out we were all fooled by Anthony’s performance of a showmance – including Nadia. Nadia thought the pair were well and truly in love and they even decided at the show finale they would get married properly.

But, as soon as filming ended Anthony completely dropped Nadia. He dumped her, and then communication and everything stopped – so it looks like this was all a façade. Thankfully, she’s found love for real this time (we hope). She has hit it off with cricketer Glen Talarico and the pair have enjoyed a romance worthy of a rom-com. Unfortunately, Anthony hasn’t found love yet and he is still angry about how he was portrayed in MAFS because he said it was heavily edited to make it look like he was the villain.

2. Michelle and Jesse – Season 4

As we all know, this pair parted ways before the experiment had come to a close. But while they may not have worked out in a romantic sense – they are now really good friends and hang out with each other fairly frequently. Michelle then briefly dated season two’s Jono Pitman after they bonded at a MAFS reunion party.

But this quickly ended and then she got together with a firefighter named Adam Medwick. Sadly, this didn’t last either and she remains single at the moment. Jesse hasn’t found love again after MAFS but he does frequently share pictures on his social media of him and Michelle. So, despite not coming out of MAFS with a relationship, this pair gained a really good friendship.

1. Clare and Jono – Season 2

The couple met and wed in Melbourne on the show’s second episode. By the fifth episode, Clare decided their relationship was not working as she felt uncomfortable with Jono’s aggressive outbursts and so she decided to end the relationship. As far as nasty breakups go, this was definitely one of them.

The pair to this day wish that they had never even met each other. Jono, has now welcomed his second child into the world with his partner Rebecca Pattison. The latest addition to the family is River Mae to join their little boy Max. It seems Clare has also moved on but she decides to out of the limelight nowadays.
