28. He Initially Started Acting As A Hobby
Getting into a youth theatre or looking to performance as an active hobby isn’t something surprising for many young people, and it can often be a great hobby without turning into any sort of career. It seems Page had the best of both though, with an interesting hobby he loved which then developed into a rewarding career.

Speaking about acting as a hobby when he came to the UK, Regé-Jean Page has said that he went to Saturday school for performance as a pastime, where he would undertake dancing, acting and singing. It’s not a bad way to spend a Saturday – and especially not if it results in a great career!
