Jesse Wood is a 43 years old musician who was born in Malibu, California. He currently lives in Richmond with his family and his wife Fearne Cotton.

Jesse Wood is a musician, he plays guitar and bass guitar for the bands RedRacer and Reef. The guitarist has played for a number of bands, including ‘The Ronnie Wood Band’ which featured Ronnie Wood himself. That’s not just it though, it seems he is a man with many strings to his bow as he also models for agencies signed in London, Paris, New York and Los Angeles.

He is the son of Rolling Stone’s musician Ronnie Woods

Music was always in his blood as it is clear where Jesse got his musical genes from. His father is none other than Ronnie Woods, a musician from one of the all-time best loved bands, The Rolling Stones.

Jesse and Fearne’s relationship

Jesse and Fearne first started dating back in 2011. The TV presenter was on a girls holiday in Ibiza at the time when she met her husband to be.  2 years later in 2013 they had a son together who is called Rex Rayne Wood. A year after that in 2014 the couple tied the knot and officially became man and wife on the 4th July.

The pair got married at Richmond registry office in London.  The pair had eager to get married to one another and Fearne posted on her Twitter account the morning after saying ‘good morning everyone from a very happy Mr and Mrs Wood’.

The wedding included many celebrity guests including Fearne’s best friend Holly Willoughby. There was also Dermot O’Leary, Denise Van Outen and the whole McBusted crew: Dougie Poynter, Tom, Fletcher, Matt Willis, Harry Judd and Danny Jones Fearne. The blonde beauty fell pregnant again and in 2015 she gave birth to daughter Honey Krissy Wood.

Fearne has been very open about the struggles of a relationship and doesn’t want the public who are looking in on their life and their relationship to think that it is perfect. The couple have admitted to having arguments like any couple and going through strained periods.

Fearne Cotton suffers with anxiety

Fearne has struggled for years with anxiety, panic attacks and depression. The TV personality and her husband often sleep in sperate rooms so that Fearne can sleep better. When she sleeps next to her husband her anxiety puts her mind into over drive and and she stuggleswith the fact that she might be woken up by her partner at any second. To help them both the couple sometimes use seperate bedrooms to be able to get a comfortable night sleep and look after themselves.

Jesse has struggled with alcoholism

Fearne Cotton’s husband has struggled with his relationsip with alcohol for a number of years. He has previously been admitted to rehab for his problem with drink and is constantly battling. Since 2010 Jesse has been teetotal, after his time spent at the rehab center. His father also struggled with drug and alcohol addiction and has entered rehab a total of 8 times. The father and son had been helping each other out when Jesse entered rehab back in 2010.

The musician’s wife publically congratulated Jesse on his 8 years sobriety. As is the nature of addiction, Jesse still thinks about drinking and it is something he battles with every day. Jesse’s days of rock and roll and partying have been switched to a focus on family time and raising his 4 children with whom he shares a close bond.

Who is Jesse’s mother?

Jesse’s mother Krissy Findley suffered a long battle with depression. Tragically, she passed away in 2005 after a suspected Valium overdose. Jesse grew up mainly with his mum but he has now established a good relationship with his dad. Ronnie Wood now has a new partner, 38-year-old Sally and the couple have had 2 new children together. In 2016 they welcomed daughters Gracie and Alice into the world.

Jesse and the family struggled during lockdown

As with the majority of people, the family struggled during lockdown. As with many relationships during this time, lockdown put a strain on the couple’s relationship. The initial lockdown period led to some fiery arguments in the Wood household which included the whole of the family.

The couple found the time stuck inside with four people hard. Having 2 children under the roof at this strenous time things got a bit stressful for the family and Fearne admitted to having rows with Jesse and the children. According to Fearne both her and Jesse have fiery tempers which leads things to get heated between the two and causes bickers to escalate into full blown rows.

In 2019 the couple hit a rough patch

In 2019 the couple went through a hard time where they found themselves clinging on to their marriage in order to save it. Fearne’s husband was away touring for a significant amount of time meaning Fearne was at home trying to juggle full time work with looking after 2 children.

The strain of long distance combined with the pressures of every day life especially took its toll on Fearne, who was staying at home while Jesse was on tour. They were going through a rocky patch where they found themselves arguing all the time. One particular argument lasted for two whole hours with the couple screaming at each other.

Afterwards, the pair had to cling on to their relationship in order to save it and try and work on their issues. Fearne had panicked at the time that the love from their relationship had possibly been lost. But, the couple managed to work through their problems, acknowledging that a relationship and love takes hard work. They now feel stronger for going through these troubles and managing to come out on the other side.

The couple share the same values

The TV presenter and musician go from strength to strength in their personal careers, something they don’t take for granted. The couple share similar values when it comes to helping others. They both use their huge platforms and influence to do their bit and are both big advocates for supporting charity. Fearne often shares donations and go fund me pages to her social media and her husband is currently taking part in ‘Movember’ and trying to raise money to support the fund.

Jesse’s previous relationship history

Fearne is not the only celebrity that the musician has dated. He was previously married to part time model, actress and producer Tilly Wood. Jesse’s fame was the catapult for Tilly’s career and she has enjoyed success ever since. They had two children together named Lola Wood and Arthur Wood. The couple’s history together remains failry private but the pair share a loving relationship with their children.

Fearne Cotton’s husband and Tilly met in 2003 and eventually divorced in 2011 which was the year Jesse met Fearne in Ibiza. They had been together for 8 years in total. For the most part the couple had a happy relationship, and they had two lovely children before it came to an end. Before meeting Tilly, he dated the famous supermodel Kate Moss in 2000, however, the relationship never progressed into anything serious.
