When we think of Robert Pattinson movies, let’s be honest, our first (or perhaps only) thought springs to Edward Cullen.
Robert Pattinson – or R-Patz as he’s most commonly known as – first stole hearts playing the role of Cedric Diggory in the Harry Potter franchise and just a few years later, he would become a Hollywood heartthrob after taking on the role of brooding vampire Edward Cullen.
This article may be Jack Whitehall‘s worst nightmare but what Robert Pattinson movies make your list? In fact, let’s go through some of his finer – and controversial – acting projects.
1. Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire – Cedric Diggory
Robert Pattinson first burst onto our screens playing Hufflepuff wizard Cedric Diggory who *spoiler alert* tragically and prematurely met his demise after being in the wrong place at the wrong time with the evil lord Voldemort.
We’ll never forget you Cedric. Rip.

2. Twilight – Edward Cullen
Next, we have the role that we all know and hate to love.
In a breakout role that would shoot him to the heights of fame and transform him into an international heartthrob, Robert Pattinson landed himself on the map after he bagged the role of Edward Cullen; a 104 year-old-vampire who doesn’t look a day over 17.
All hell breaks loose when he meets and falls in love with a human girl (played by Kristen Stewart).
*Cue screaming tweens*
He went on to star in three more instalments of The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Eclipse, The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn part 1 & 2.
3. Remember Me – Tyler Hawkins
In the midst of his Twilight fame, Rob starred in a romance-drama set in New York City alongside Emilie de Ravin, playing the role of Tyler Hawkins.
With one of the most unexpected movie twists since I see dead people, this ones leaves us with many emotions…

4. Water For Elephants – Jacob Jankowski
Based on Sara Gruen’s 2006 novel of the same name, Water For Elephants stars Robert Pattinson as a vet who joins a travelling circus and ends up falling in love with the ringmaster’s wife, Marlena (Reese Witherspoon).
Of course, this is definitely one to watch!

In one of his grittier roles, Robert Pattinson played billionaire currency speculator Eric Packer; whose life and fortunes begin to unravel after finding himself on a road to self-destruction.
Subsequently, the film receives mixed reactions to say the least.

6. The Rover – Reynolds
Set in a dystopian future where the greed of mankind has ended civilisation as we know it, Robert stars as Reynolds; a simple and naive American southerner alongside Guy Pearce.
The film, written and directed by David Michôd, won the British hunk a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the AACTA Awards.

7. Good Time – Connie Nikas
In what has been described as Robert Pattinson’s ‘best role’, in this American crime thriller, he plays a bank robber who attempts to free his disabled brother (Benny Salfdie) from police custody.
To illustrate its popularity, the film appeared at the Palme d’Or in the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.

8. The Lighthouse – Thomas Howard
This psychological thriller is not for the fainthearted! The film received an Oscar nomination and was met with critical acclaim for its cinematography, direction and the performances of Robert Pattinson and William Dafoe.
The story revolves around two lighthouse keepers who, after becoming stranded on a remote island, slowly devolve into insanity.
Super creepy and disturbing to watch but, nevertheless, will definitely remain one of Rob’s most memorable performances!
9. Tenet – Neil
Finally, in his most recent role, Robert Pattinson stars alongside John David Washington as Neil, a mysterious secret agent, in Christopher Nolan’s latest sci-fi/espionage thriller.
The film centres around a secret agent (Washington) who tries to control the flow of time in order to prevent the second World War from ever happening.
