The idea was started initially in White Cross Bay Holiday Park in the Lake District and were so popular that they are now being launched in Parkdean branches across the country.

Hedgehogs were recently placed on the endangered species list and whilst there were around 30 million in 1950, in 2018 they were only 500,000 recorded.

The park wanted to make sure that they had comfortable, safe and cosy homes, where ponds are safe with ramps so they can climb out of them and a place where they can avoid slug pellets and harmful pesticides.
