Nadiya Hussain Husband: The Man Behind The Great British Baker
Nadiya Hussain rose to fame in 2015 after she impressed judges on The Great British Bake Off, eventually taking home the show’s trophy.
Since her time on Bake Off concluded, Nadia has branched out of the kitchen, finding roles in presenting, as well as writing her own autobiography.

The mum-of-three recently opened up about her personal life and revealed that her and her husband’s marriage was arranged and that the day they tied the knot was ‘one of the worst of her life’.

Who Is Nadiya Hussain’s Husband Abdal?
Speaking on Loose Women, the 35-year-old revealed:
“I didn’t see him very well but my sisters did and they went downstairs and said ‘oh my god he’s so good-looking’.”
Before adding: “But he’s got an enormous butt.
“So now, when I met him for the first time, the first thing I wanted to look at was his butt.
“So I was like I’ve got to check if this a*** is as huge as I think it is.”
Nadiya told The Sun: “We’re married Islamically but we’ve never done the proper vows here.”
The couple – who are now madly in love – re-married two years ago and announced it on Instagram.
Nadiya penned: “Nothing fancy just love. No frills. Just us. We did it again. I do. Always will. I would do it all over again”.
Abdul responded: “You can’t run away from me now. I love you to infinity and beyond.”

Who Is Abdal?
At the time of Bake Off, Adbal was a technical manager at a Computer Sciences Corporation based in Leeds.
He was the one who encouraged Nadiya to apply for the show.

On Bake Off, Nadiya revealed:
“He’s definitely been my biggest support throughout all of this, and he’s had to take on a very different role at home.
“He irons clothes now, feeds the kids and does the dishes. No relationship is 50/50, as someone always gives a little bit more.
“At the moment he’s the one giving a lot more.”
How Many Children Do They Have?
The pair have three kids together: 12-year-old Musa, 11-year-old Dawyd and eight-year-old Maryam.

Were They Always The Perfect Couple?
In a shocking revelation, Nadiya revealed that she didn’t love her husband until they had their second child.
“Love is strange… It creeps up on you and then smacks you in the face. I didn’t know my husband, and then we had two children, and then I fell in love with him,” she explained.
When asked if she’d follow tradition by choosing partners for her children, she said: “It’s tough – you are pretty much marrying a complete stranger. We need to move with the times. I don’t think my children need me to find them a husband or a wife. They will do a better job than I will.”
