The 58-year-old former politician was the first contestant to be eliminated from the BBC Latin and ballroom dance competition last week, but thinks she was voted off as she didn’t stick her breasts out far enough for good posture during her Samba performance.
Recalling advice dance partner Anton du Beke gave her about her posture, she said:
‘T*** out, t*** out, t*** out. That’s what Anton had told me. That’s sort of been the theme… the problem with my samba was my t*** were not sufficiently out’.
Jacqui went up against Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing in the dance-off to see who would be going home.
But she and Anton failed to impress the judges as they danced to Sir Tom Jones’ ‘Help Yourself’.
The former Home Secretary was also stung by judge Craig Revel Horwood’s harsh comments after he compared her to a “stumbling drunk”, whereas fellow judges Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse noted how far she had come.
She told the ‘For The Many’ podcast:
‘I’m quite tough, but I did find that quite difficult. Craig was slightly more focused on how far I hadn’t come…
‘But it’s ‘Strictly’, it’s fabulous, it’s not the end of the world, nobody died’.

Following her exit, Jacqui took to social media to apologise to her dance partner for leaving so early on in the contest.
She wrote:
‘Thank you @bbcstrictly for giving me the adventure of a lifetime. I’m sorry I couldn’t have continued it with the amazing @TheAntonDuBeke but happy for all those amazing and lovely dancers.
‘Good luck to them all. Your country needs you and Strictly #noregrets #goforit (sic)’.
Anton replied:
‘Ah @Jacqui_Smith1, didn’t we have a ball! Over so soon, my love, but what a transformation from the launch show in just a few short weeks – such a tremendous achievement! (sic)’.
