The former EastEnders actress is petrified about treading the boards in the festive production, which starts on December 7th at London’s Dominion Theatre, but is aware she is “fully capable” and also feels “so excited” about taking on the role of Emily in the show.

Speaking on her Instagram Stories, she said:

‘It’s my first ever West End job.

‘Honestly, I’m terrified but I am also so excited, and I know I’m fully capable.

‘And the cast is amazing’.

The 28-year-old actress didn’t think people “would care” that much about her being cast in the show, which also stars Brian Conley and Matt Willis.

She added:

‘I’ve had so many DMs, from people I know to people I don’t know.

‘People have already bought tickets to come and see the show.

‘I just wanted to quickly say thank you so much for everyone’s comments.

‘I actually didn’t think people would care as much as they do.

‘And tickets are selling really fast.

‘It’s all socially distanced, all safe. Nothing to worry about at all, it’s definitely going to happen’.

‘With live music from the incredible @thelmto and a wonderful cast including @realbrianconley and @mattjwillis this is the 2020 event that will unite friends, families and loved ones with the magic of live entertainment, the perfect post-lockdown treat!

‘We have all the safety measure already in place at the @dominiontheatre, making this a covid safe production (sic)’.
