There is a definite deluge of Christmas films but we all have our own festive favourite. And if Home Alone isn’t at least in your top five then… you’re wrong.
It makes us feel all warm and nostalgic (and inspires us to booby trap the house). But believe it or not the film was released in 1990 meaning that this year is its THIRTY year anniversary… That’s not very festive.

The film is even getting a reboot for Disney+ as the Disney chief, Bob Ifer, announced that it would be ‘reimagined for a new generation.’
Well, as far as we’re concerned, nothing will beat the original, so we’re taking a look at what the cast are up to now.
Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) – THEN
Macaulay Culkin was just 10 years old when adopted the role of Kevin. As we well know, he went on to star in the sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
