Wayne Lineker has signed up for Celebs Go Dating

The 58-year-old club owner – who is the younger brother of former footballer Gary Lineker – has turned to dating experts Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson to find love outside of the Ibiza nightclubs.
An insider told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column:
‘Wayne thinks it’ll be good for him to meet women outside his usual Ibiza nightclub circles. He is used to being centre of attention so this show will be perfect for him. Filming started this week and he’s already caused lots of laughs’.
The Ocean Beach Club owner recently came under fire for posting a list of requirements for future girlfriends on Instagram.
He wrote:
‘So, my family have decided I need a girlfriend for my own sanity and health… so here’s my criteria.
‘Ok – Let’s start this off like I’m normal: Strong nice loving personality’.

Wayne then listed some of the things which he felt were “more important” when it came to a potential lover.
They included being able to cook, having a toned body and looking like a “worldie”.
He added:
‘You must like to travel and to fly business class and stay in incredible hotels. Be prepared to give up your career or job or at least be able to work from a laptop on a tropical beach somewhere’.
The list was met with hundreds of comments on social media, with one Twitter user writing:
‘Has Wayne Lineker been hacked or is he just being himself? Hard to say’.
Another commented:
‘The sad thing is he will be inundated with girls offering themselves. This is why I am trying to parent my teenage girl to have high self esteem and be a strong, confident and independent woman. Same for my son too’.
