The Love Island star has recalled how she got pregnant while on the pill in 2019, and she was “shocked” when she had a positive test to show she was pregnant, but she “naturally miscarried” soon after.

Speaking on her YouTube channel, she said:

‘I’ve been on the pill since I was about 15. I’m sometimes just a bit bad with taking it. To be fair, I’m now very particular with my pill because I got pregnant on the pill last year.

‘It was so bad. I was shocked because I was like, ‘”No, surely not,” and I remember I found out… it really was awful. To be fair it wasn’t that awful, because I naturally miscarried, but I was actually on the pill when it happened and I was so confused’.

Montana was previously dating model boyfriend Elliott Reeder for two years before they split in January.

Of her new single status, she said at the time of their split:

‘I am officially single, but actually loving it. Also the show must go on, I’m feeling pretty fresh.

‘I mean I wasn’t feeling fresh when it first happened, don’t get me wrong, I was pretty down in the dumps. But I feel like everything happens for a reason, I’ve been really able to focus on myself and my personal growth, personal goals. I’ve met some amazing people along the way, I think everything happens for a reason’.

Montana previously admitted she regrets having sex on TV.

The 24-year-old reality star – who bedded Alex Beattie on Love Island – said:

‘In hindsight, having sex on TV wasn’t the best idea. My advice to the new hopefuls is not to do it. If I could have done it differently, I wouldn’t have had sex. But, other than that, I really enjoyed the experience. I just wish I’d made a better decision in that area.

‘It’s completely justified when people have sex, because when you’re in such an intense environment you think it’s the right thing to do. When you’re in there 24/7, in a confined space, it’s almost like you’re in a six to eight-month relationship, because each week feels like a year. But definitely go in with the mindset of not having sex’.
