After the band, Sarah appeared on numerous reality TV shows, including Celebrity Big Brother.
But the biggest and most devastating news from the former Girls Aloud singer was announced recently after she revealed that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer, which she says has spread to other parts of her body.
Writing on Twitter, the 38-year-old told fans she was diagnosed with the disease earlier this year.
She explained she was fighting as hard as she can and she is trying to stay positive.
