Government Set To Launch ‘Seat Out To Help Out’ Scheme To Help Save Theatres

With the end of the ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme set up by the government in a bid to aid restaurant establishments across the UK, government officials are reportedly considering launching a similar scheme to help the theatre and live entertainment sectors.

A proposal of a ‘Seat Out to Help Out’ scheme is being considered to encourage people to attend theatres and live entertainment venues. Across the UK, theatres have been allowed to reopen since 15th August with the exception of Greater Manchester and other areas of the country where local lockdown restrictions apply.
