There Will Be NO Audience
For the first time ever in the show’s history, the celebrities and professionals will be performing to a pretty empty studio.
The group professional dances have been ditched as all of their numbers will be pre-recorded.
A show source said:
“The current plan is no audience, which will inevitably affect the show. They are the energy in the room, and dancing in an empty room is like dancing in a training room. It’s a different intensity and pressure.”
There will be a skeleton background crew as a source claimed only about 25 per cent of the usual crew will be working on the show.
