7. Tip the sticky dough mixture onto a floured surface and knead it with your hands.

8. Using a rolling pin, roll out the dough until it is roughly 4cm thick and cut out pieces using a floured cutter (preferably a 7cm round cutter).

9. Place the pieces onto a lightly floured baking sheet and brush with the egg.

10. Bake for 10-12 minutes in the centre of a preheated oven until well risen.
