The show is currently off air after running out of episodes amid the pandemic, but when the programme returns on September 7th, actress Luisa Bradshaw-White will be a part of one of the main storylines, in which her bar manager character Tina has been struck down with Covid-19.
Speaking on EastEnders: Secrets from the Square, Luisa said:
‘Tina got coronavirus and was living with Ash and Iqra.
‘I think Tina now comes out thinking, “I really want a relationship, I want love.”
‘So then really we start from there’.

Luisa’s on-screen sister and former Bad Girls co-star Linda Henry’s EastEnders character Shirley Carter is in for an emotional time in forthcoming episodes.
Speaking about her upcoming plot, Linda said:
‘The past comes back to bite Shirley on the bum’.
Luisa said:
‘It’s a really exciting storyline, she [Linda] cried.
‘Because you do cry. She gets really emotional’.
Linda added:
‘It’s going to be brilliant’.
Elsewhere during chat on the spin-off show, Linda admitted she was left “heart-broken” when Cheryl Fergison’s character Heather Trott was killed off in 2012, but she still goes on holiday with the actress.
She said:
‘Broke my heart when they got rid of Cheryl.
‘We still see each other, we go on holiday with each other, every day was a lovely day at work with her’.
EastEnders will kick off “series two” on Monday September 7th after being off air since June 16th.
