Lockdown has been a challenge the past few months, but for many of us, it’s been an opportunity to show another side of ourselves. The Real Housewives Of Cheshire star Dawn Ward is no exception! Who Is Dawn Ward?
Dawn Ward is one of the original cast members of The Real Housewives of Cheshire. She’s 49 years old and was born in Salford, Manchester. And the WAG and businesswoman is reportedly worth £42 million! Dawn is an interior designer, and lives in a £15 million mansion called Warford Hall, and it’s spectacular!
She’s been a major fixture on Real Housewives Of Cheshire, where viewers have got a peek into her lavish lifestyle. But it hasn’t been smooth sailing for Dawn on the show – her epic feud with former best friend and WAG Leanne Brown has been a major storyline over the last few years. The friends fell out over a loan potentially worth £500,000 between their husbands – messy!
And off screen, things haven’t been easy for Dawn. She had a hysterectomy in 2017, and has talked about how scared she was to go under the knife. And later that year, she was meant to be heading into the Celebrity Big Brother house, but pulled out the day before the show was due to start.

Who Is She Married To?
Dawn is married to ex-footballer and businessman Ashley Ward. Ward played for many different teams – Manchester City, Leicester City, Norwich City and finally Sheffield United. He retired from football in 2005. The couple have been together for years, and Ashley proposed to Dawn in the car park of the pub where they met! They have four daughters together, named Aston, Charlie, Darby and Taylor.
Dawn Ward’s Instagram Has Shown The World Her Cooking Skills
All this time at home has allowed some of us to brush up on our cooking skills! And it turns out Dawn is a bit of a master chef! Dawn Ward’s Instagram has seen her showing off her foodie side, making all sorts of tasty treats.
She’s turned her hand to lamb curry, Tom Yum Thai soup, rice pudding and chocolate roulade, and many other dishes. And her chicken and mushroom lasagne has a hit with fans when she shared a video of her making it. One said:
“I’ve always wanted your recipe for your chicken and mushroom lasagna since I heard you talk about it on RHOC I never for one second thought I would actually get a video of the Dawn Ward making it.”

She’s Been Missing Pal Gemma Collins During Lockdown
Dawn Ward has been missing close friend Gemma Collins during lockdown. She posted a message on Instagram with her family, saying hello to the TOWIE star. Before lockdown, Gemma was a regular visitor to Dawn’s family home in Cheshire. She said:
“Can’t see our lovely @gemmacollins1 at the moment so thought we’d do a family pic dedicated to our GC.”

Dawn’s Also Had A Friend To Stay During Lockdown
Dawn Ward’s Instagram shows that her Cheshire mansion has been full to the brim during lockdown! As well as her husband and four daughters, she’s had some additional houseguests. Her daughter Darby’s fiancé Michael has been living with them during the coronavirus pandemic, as the couple were preparing to move house when the virus hit. And friend Jodie Sullivan – the manager of Dawn’s beauty clinic, and her seven year old daughter, have also been staying too.
Jodie manages Dawn’s clinic, called Skuplt. The friends and work colleagues decided it would be best if Jodie and her daughter moved in too, so everyone could have an easier time during lockdown under one roof. And Dawn and family even threw Jodie a super fun lockdown birthday party earlier this year – complete with decorations, pizza and party snacks!
Dawn Ward’s Instagram Lockdown Life Is Still Stylish
Dawn hasn’t exactly let herself go during lockdown! While most have us have been spending a lot of time in our pyjamas, Dawn Ward’s Instagram shows her looking sharp while living life mostly at home. She’s been rocking a lot of comfy casuals, but always looks glammed up. The whole family’s been keeping up appearances while in lockdown too, with her daughters and hubby looked super groomed too.

What’s Next For Dawn?
Dawn’s been promoting the next series of Real Housewives of Cheshire while in lockdown, getting fans ready for the show’s return. She’s also been doing a lot of brand partnership work on her Instagram, with big brands like Forever Unique and Swinton Insurance. And she’s even been on holiday since lockdown rules eased, heading over to Cannes in France for some much needed sunshine. She had a family birthday celebration while away, posting on Instagram:

She’s also been involved in some fundraising for her local NHS hospital, creating a new recreation area for doctors, nurses and staff to enjoy.

Now lockdown rules are relaxing, we’re sure to see much more from Dawn as she gets back into the swing of regular life. Real Housewives of Cheshire has resumed filming, with the cast members wearing masks when they get together!
