Justin Bieber Hailey Baldwin actually go way back. They might not have been married for long, but these two have been in each others lives for over a decade.

2009- First Meet

Baldwin and Justin Bieber actually met back in 2009, thanks to Hailey’s movie-producing Dad, Steve Baldwin.

The pair met backstage at the Today Show for the first time. Hailey was just ten years old, and Justin just a few years older!

Hailey admitted to being a fan of Bieber, but not quite a ‘Belieber’ like most girls back in the day:

“I was never a superfan, of him. It was never that crazed, screaming thing. Everybody had a crush on him. But for the first few years we had a weird age gap.” 

The pair met again a couple of years later, backstage at one of Justin’s concerts. It had also just been confirmed that Bieber and Selena Gomez were a thing.

2014- ‘Just Friends’

By this time, Bieber and Gomez had split. Meanwhile, Baldwin had struck up a close friendship with Kendall Jenner- who happened to be friends with Bieber- and the three were spotted at Church together.

Just a month later, Baldwin went on to shut down dating rumours:

“I’ve known him since I was so young—since I was like 13—and we’ve just been good friends over the years. We have just stayed close and there’s nothing more to it than that.”

2016- Finally Together

Finally at the start of 2016, they confirmed they were an item- well, kind of…

“We are not an exclusive couple. He’s about to go on tour. Relationships at this age are already complicated, but I don’t really like to talk about it because it’s between me and him.”

2016-2018- Justin Bieber Hailey Baldwin Lose Touch

Hailey and Justin weren’t spotted together at all during this time, making it seem like things were over for good.

Bieber struck up a relationship with Sophia Ritchie, while Hailey dated Shawn Mendes, as well Drake, supposedly.

June 2018- Love At First Sight (Again)

The pair bumped in to each other at a conference in Los Angeles, and ended up reconnecting.

 “We went through a long period of time when we weren’t friends. We didn’t speak for quite some time, and there was a lot of weirdness that went on. We’ve moved past that.”

Justin Bieber net worth might have been at an all time high, but before reconnecting with Hailey, his personal life was all over the place.

July 2018- A Quick Turnaround 

Just a month later, it was reported that Bieber had proposed to Baldwin whilst holidaying in the Bahamas.

September 2018- Justin Bieber Hailey Baldwin Tie The Knot

They didn’t hang about, deciding to secretly wed in a courthouse ceremony in NYC.

“The city hall marriage was her idea. It was ‘you and me against the world. Let’s show [everyone] we’re serious and it’s not just some crazy fling.”

February 2019

The newly married couple appeared on Vogue’s March Cover, sharing some insight in to their marriage. Including the revelation that they’d waited until marriage to have sex, as the pair both pride themselves on religion:

“When I saw her last June, I just forgot how much I loved her and how much I missed her and how much of a positive impact she made on my life.”

September 2019- Justin Bieber Hailey Baldwin Wed… Again

Later that year, they had their second ceremony surrounded by friends and family, including some familiar faces from the Kardashian- Jenner clan, to Usher.

The pair wed in a luxury waterfront resort in South Carolina, with the theme of the Notebook in mind.

Known for her sense of style, Hailey of course had big expectations when it came to her dress (or dresses- she had four).

Her main gown was crafted for her by Off- White, with her reception dress being a custom gown by none other than Vera Wang.

She kept it casual and in line with her well-loved street style, finishing the look off with a pair of Nike Air Forces to dance the night away in.

The couple will be celebrating their second wedding anniversary before we know it! Having spent the entirety of lockdown together, in Justin’s home country of Canada, they’re now stronger than ever.
