Who Is Harry Judd?
Harry Judd is part of the British pop rock band McFly. He joined the band in 2003, after replying to an ad in NME magazine. The band have released 2 number one albums, and 18 top 20 hits in the UK – impressive! And these days, Harry isn’t just a musician, he’s a husband and family man too. And the teenage heart throb is now 34 years old.
Who Is Harry Judd Married To?
Harry Judd met his wife, violinist Brittany “Izzy” Johnston in 2005, when she was part of the string section on the band’s 2005 tour. Izzy was formerly the violinist for Escala, the electronic band that appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2008. The couple got married in 2012 in a ceremony attended by his band mates.

How Many Kids Do Harry and Izzy Have?
Harry and Izzy have two children together – Lola Rose Emma, and Kit Harry Francis Judd. Lola was conceived via IVF after the couple struggled to get pregnant. And in 2017, Kit Harry Francis Judd was born after being conceived naturally. The family lives in London, and even created a free activity pack for families to download and use to entertain kids in lockdown.

Izzy’s Post Lockdown Reunion With Her Brother
Izzy has been apart from her brother Rupert for five months during the coronavirus lockdown. As Rupert is disabled, having suffered a brain injury after a car accident in 2007, he lives in a specialist residential care home. Izzy shared the lovely photos of their reunion on Instagram:

About seeing Rupert for the first time in so long, she said:
‘Today I saw and hugged Rupert for the first time in 5 months. It was overwhelmingly emotional and somewhat surreal.”
‘Throughout the last months my thoughts turn to Rupert often and as ever help me to gain a perspective of what matters most… our health, our happiness, freedom, to love and be loved.”
“I felt so sad on my drive home and immense guilt for the freedom I have to live my life without brain injury, surrounded everyday by my family, friends and loved ones.”
“And I also felt so proud of Rupert and everything he has overcome, especially during these very difficult months without a loved one to hold him tight.”
“I just feel so sorry for my brother, he is so brave and an inspiration. All safety measures for COVID were put in place.”
What’s Next For Harry?
And there’s exciting news for fans of Harry Judd’s Instagram and the McFly boys – the band are set to release new music after a 10 year hiatus! As the group have signed a brand new record deal, new tunes are on the way. Announcing the news on Twitter, lead singer Tom Fletcher said:
“We have some big @mcflymusic news! We have signed a new record deal with @BMGuk and new music is on the way.”
And it shouldn’t be too long to wait until you can hear the first track – the first single from the long awaited new album should be released in the next few weeks.
The McFly Reunion
It’s been a decade since the group’s last studio album. But they haven’t been in hiding – since they stopped recording they toured as part of the super-group McBusted with members of Busted, for the ultimate in early 2000s nostalgia! McFly had discussed getting back together in 2017, but tensions within the group prevented that from happening. Lead singer Tom said in an interview with BBC News:
“There was a strong possibility McFly would never happen again. We genuinely didn’t know how to get back on track.”
And apparently, the boys even considered group therapy to help work through their issues. Harry has said that:
“We tried to talk it out a couple of times over those years and it just was very unproductive. So, yeah, there were moments where we talked about, ‘Do we need to get in a room with a therapist and document this?'”
The lads went on to have separate and successful careers, with Harry winning Strictly Come Dancing in 2011. But back in April, rumours of a reunion started flying after they re-recorded their song All About You for the NHS and charity from their homes during lockdown.
