She already started out on a good foot- being from one of the most well known families in America; she’s the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin, while her uncle is Alec Baldwin- also an actor and producer.

Baldwin didn’t choose the acting route herself, but she did find herself on the stage as a keen ballet dancer. She trained at the American Ballet Theatre School before her dreams were crushed by an ankle injury.

They do say everything happens for a reason, and the end of her ballet career signalled the start of her successful modelling one- in which dancing actually helped her in:

“I learned to be able to move really well when taking photos and modelling. It helps a lot to be able to know how to move and how to translate that in a photo.”

She signed for Ford Models in 2014, then IMG (one of the biggest agencies in the modelling industry) in 2016. Since her first shows for Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger, she’s walked for some of the biggest names, including Versace and Off White.

Just Fell Short

She did audition for a spot in the Victoria’s Secret lineup, before just missing out for being ‘too short’, at 5’8″:

“I want to walk in the Victoria’s Secret show. It’s every girl’s dream.”

And it doesn’t look like that dream will be coming to fruition anytime soon, since the show got scrapped last year.

She might not have ticked that one off the list, but she did land herself on the cover of Vogue.

Baldwin has walked for a number of big names, but she still admits to feeling inferior to some of her supermodel pals, thanks to her ‘shorter’ height:

“I’m shorter than most of the girls. Even though I’m five foot eight [inches], I’m not a runway girl and I totally used to feel inferior to some of my friends. Look at Kendall [Jenner] and Bells [Bella Hadid] and Gigi [Hadid]…they’re all tall and doing every runway.”

While she’s not walking every runway that exists, she’s still raking it in as the face of brands such as Bare Minerals, jewellery brand Daniel Wellington and Levi’s.

She’s also released a makeup collection with ModelCo and shoe collection with Public Desire.

Her endless brand campaigns had her sitting pretty at an impressive $3m, before she married one of the richest stars of today.
