For years Poltergeist has been the root of nightmares for many people, but what you probably didn’t know it that it is inspired by a true story…

His wife Lucille and their teenaged children, Jimmy and Lucy claimed to have heard popping sounds coming from around the house. After searching for the cause, they uncovered several uncapped bottles in each room and a bottle of holy water spilling on the bedroom dressing table.
A real ghost?
Almost a week later, the family sat down to a meal together but were interrupted by the same popping sounds.

This time investigating himself, James Herrmann found each of the rooms were filled with bottles that had been opened.
The film…
Between the 3rd of February and the 10th of March, the Herrmann’s and others witnessed almost 70 seemingly paranormal events.
