You might not have known that ex-TOWIE star Danielle was with the footballer, Jermaine Defoe, for two years back in 2012.

Playing for Tottenham Hotspurs at the time, he had previously had his pick of the ladies- from Big Brother star Chantelle Houghton, to X-Factor star Alexandra Burke.

Danielle and Jermaine ended up calling it quits after two years, back in 2014. Not one to mess around, Danielle soon found herself in another relationship.
James Lock
This time with TOWIE’s James Lock. Not long after their relationship began in 2o14, Danielle joined her new man on the show. She soon became a TOWIE fave!
The very public up and downs of their two year relationship played out for all to see on the show, often down to Lockie’s party boy ways.

Just months in to the relationship James was hit with cheating allegations, to which he admitted. Danielle gave him another chance, only to break things off again a year later, just before he planned to pop the question.
Things finally ended for good in 2016, leading to Danielle’s exit from the show for a fresh start.
Josh Ritchie
There were rumours that Danielle and ex- Love Islander Josh Ritchie shared a kiss in the back of a taxi- much to ex-Lockie’s frustration.

So much so, he got in to a fight with the reality star at an event. Lockie’s TOWIE co-star, Dan Edgar, gave an insight:
“Yeah, there was a little fight, but James is alright now. He’s just coming to terms with everything with Danielle.”
He continued:
“It is never easy to see your ex with someone else, they still love each other but they just can’t be together right now, it doesn’t work.”

Danielle then chimed in to shoot down the rumours:
“Sorry to disappoint but I was out with my friend and bumped into Josh and his mates in the beer garden.”
Daniel Spiller
It wasn’t long before Danielle was off the market again, this time being snapped up by another footballer, Daniel Spiller.

Not long in to their relationship, Spiller had embarked on a new career selling Herbalife products, in which the pair soon joint forces on:

“We’re really good, it’s been over a year now. We have one of those relationships where we can work together and enjoy being in a relationship too.

Danielle revealed their plans to take things slow:
“I’ve just bought my own house, it’s something I always wanted to do before I was 30. We’ve only been together for a year and these days people like to rush into things. For us, we’re quite traditional, so we’re keeping our own space for now. The plan would be for us to move in together within the next few years.
Things didn’t go quite to plan, with the pair splitting in 2018, after an on-off two years:
“It was becoming a friend relationship and a business partnership rather than a loving one and after a heart to heart they just both decided to call it a day.”

Danielle’s single spell didn’t last, as before long she found herself in another relationship- but this time it was different.
In September 2019 she announced she’d actually began dating her life-long friend:
“Life has a funny way of working out just when I decided to give up on love my friend of 22 years swept me off my feet.”

Friends With Benefits…
Danielle recalled not actually being interested in Tom whilst in school:
“No, I weren’t, I wasn’t actually that interested. I quite liked the older boy at school, we didn’t really like going out with boys in our year,” Danielle recalled.
“We did have a little thing at 18 at school, then you weren’t interested again. Kept me waiting.”
Just two months later she took to Instagram again, this time announcing their baby news!

Boyfriend Tom popped the question on a boat in Dubai, meaning that in under a year she’d gone from single to engaged and a baby on the way!
