I remember him on tv in ‘St Elsewhere’ as Dr. Phillip Chandler. His introduction into films led him into some gritty roles, in the late’80s, ‘Glory’, ‘The Mighty Quinn’ and ‘For Queen And Country’. He won an Academy Award for ‘Glory’, as Best Supporting Actor.
