Daryl was in the original ‘Blade Runner’ (much better than the sequel, which I saw last year). Her claim to fame, though, would have to be ‘Splash’, where she played, as we all know, a mermaid. This was one of Ron Howard’s first directing roles, after leaving ‘Happy Days’.
