Nicole Osbourne, a pole-dancing teacher, gave birth to their son in October 2015 and the pair named him Joseph Bayley Temiloluwa Prince Joshua.
Anthony and Nicole met at school in Watford, the couple had an on-off relationship for several years before the unplanned pregnancy. Joshua didn’t reveal that he was a father until six months later, when he posted a snap of his baby on Instagram, where he wrote:

Although he is single and still lives with his mother, Joshua provides for his three year old son.

The world heavyweight champion also regularly shares snaps of himself on Instagram holding his kid, the most recent with the caption:Ā “If I aināt got nothing else I got you š«.”

When asked if he wanted his son to follow in his footsteps and become a boxing champ, he revealed:
āNo itās too hard. Itās a dangerous sport. I want my son to be the best man that he can be, but I donāt want him to be compared to me. Youāre not going to be a boxing star without going through heaps of pain.”
“Life is not a highlight reel. A career is not a highlight reel. People see the glamour, the winning. Nobodyās interested in the knocks and bruises, the bad eye, the struggle. My son has the bloodline for it, thereās no doubt about that…”
Who Is He Dating?
In 2017, AJ revealed that he spent his spare time boxing rather than investing in any relationships. Although he’s been linkedĀ with celebrities Rita Ora, Cara Delevingne, Bella Hadid and Geordie Shoreās Chantelle Connelly, it appears that his mother is still the number one lady in his life.
Joshua has expressed his taste in women, admitting: āAmerican women are nice.ā
He also said that he’d been attracted to a model on Instagram, whom his friend sent him a photo of. But vowed that he would not private message anyone on the platform because he suspected his messages would not be seen.

He’s Doesn’t Seem Too Bothered About A Girlfriend
As well as this, he called Lori Harvey, an American model, who he thought was dating footballer Memphis Depay at the time, ābeautifulā.
Joshua said: āFirst and foremost youāve got to think of your family. If you canāt bring your family together, how can you bring a community together?
āIāve got a big family, and without family who have you got?
āIām not the type to have too many material things because Iām trying to supply my family with things.
āItās connecting the family and making all the generations understand that no one problem is bigger than us.ā
Joshua seemed adamant that his life wasn’t suited to be spent with a girlfriend:
āIf people can ride with me for the next 10 to 12 years I would really appreciate it, but if they canāt foresee the future Iād rather they jump off the boat because I canāt stop for no one right now,āĀ he told theĀ Evening Standard in 2017.
āI was speaking to my coach, who worked with Carl Froch, who had a 12-year career. One day it does finish and now he has all the time in the world to think about business, family.
āNot everyone likes the decisions I make but Iāve got to make my own decisions. Decisions I make impact others. And my time training means there is not much time for girlfriends either.ā
