Molly Mae And Tommy: Proving Everyone Wrong
During their time together in the villa, the influencer’s feelings for the boxer were constantly under question by fans and even fellow Islanders. She was often accused of gold digging for the £50k prize, with haters suggesting she only stayed with Tommy for the money.
Fast forward nearly a year, and the pair are going stronger than ever. Having outlasted every other couple’s relationships, they’ve finally silenced the doubters.
At just 20-years-old, the pair aren’t only the only couple to still be together, but were the youngest couple in the villa.

The Last Ones Standing
Love Island stars Molly Mae Hague and Tommy came runners up to Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea, who lasted just weeks after coming out of the villa.
Undoubtedly secretly smug about their lasting relationship, Molly Mae admitted:
“It’s nice to be able to show everyone they were all wrong because they didn’t believe in us and it’s so nice to show that we were the realest couple in there and I think that’s really shown since we’ve come out.”
Perhaps some of the other couples’ motives should have been questioned instead.

Molly continued:
“I could have told you that right from the start but no one would listen to me and wanted to say I was fake. Everyone knows Tommy and I were the winners in a way. I saw Amber the other day and she would have told you herself that [we] were the winners.”

They might not have won the show (or prize), but they won something a lot more special- and we can’t imagine it will have taken them long to make the prize total with just a few Instagram posts!

“It’s sad what happened, but we didn’t need to win the show to prove what we’ve got because everyone can see it now and we’re so happy, but maybe we wouldn’t have been if we’d won, you just never know.”
We’ve all heard of the Love Island course, after all!

Molly Mae And Tommy: Inside Their Apartment
Things moved quickly for the pair after leaving the villa. Having spent weeks on end living together, they decided they were ready to move in together not long after their return.
The pairs’ previous living situation was perfect for the pair, as both were living in Manchester before entering the villa.
Molly Mae and Tommy decided to find a place to rent while they navigated their new found lives together. And it wasn’t a bad place to call home…

Their apartment, located in the quirky Northern Quarter area of the city, is furnished to perfection, with a glass staircase and exposed brick walls. The perfect Instagram background for the couple!
Molly revealed a revelation about the place:
“We have four bathrooms in this place – we don’t have a bath but it has a sauna, which is so random. But we do actually use it, to be fair.”

Given that the couple are renting, they admit there are things they’d change:
“If this apartment was ours, the things I would do to it, I would make it so lovely but there is literally no point throwing money into it because you’re just never going to get it back.”
It might not be their perfect place, but it’s certainly nothing to turn your nose up at; especially as their first place together at such a young age!

Molly Mae and Tommy have confirmed they were in the process of looking for a house before the coronavirus pandemic struck. Thought to still be in Manchester, the pair plan to move when they can.
Molly Mae And Tommy: How Are They Doing In Isolation?
Molly took to her Instagram stories to check in on her 4m followers:
“I hope you’re all doing well. I hope isolation is not destroying you all. The last couple of days have been a bit hard on me and Tommy – especially now that all the gyms are shut, all the restaurants are shut… It’s crazy. But yeah, I’m thinking of you all.”

Rule Breakers
The pair were hit with backlash on Twitter after bending the lockdown rules, and moving between their apartment in Manchester and Molly’s childhood home in Hertfordshire:
“I appreciate this isn’t the worst thing in the world but travelling between homes is deemed non-essential travel and I think it’s a bit silly of her to change location and post showing she has.”
Another angered user added:
“They have definitely done wrong. Unless the situation at Molly’s parents has become completely untenable they should have stayed there.”

How Have They Been Keeping Busy?
An insider close to the couple spoke to a tabloid:
“They left Molly’s mum’s house to head back home to Manchester, but they haven’t come in to contact with anyone on their travels only each other.”
Meanwhile, the pair have still been sharing insights in to their lockdown on their social media. As expected, Tommy has no doubt been missing the gym but been instead getting the home workouts in.

Molly joked on her story that her boxer boyfriend ‘doesn’t stop’, whilst filming him doing burpees.
The PLT ambassador has been joining in with some of Tommy’s workouts, and taking time out to spend with her family.
Isolation can either make or break a couple, and it seems these lovebirds are as strong as ever. Maybe that that proposal Molly Mae has hinted at might still be on the cards…
