Former singer in The Saturdays and current style guru, we’ve stalked Mollie King‘s Instagram to find out about her life behind the scenes.
Growing Up…
Mollie King was born in Wandsworth, London in 1987 and attended Surbiton High School alongside pupil Chemmy Alcott.

By the age of 11, King was a member of the British Children’s Ski Team and she received a scholarship to the British Ski Academy.
Later, she races for Great Britain as one of the youngest on the team and went on to ski for the British Alpine squad.
Despite being on her way to a successful ski career, King gave it up in the pursuit to be a singer.

The Saturdays To Solo
Rising to fame in 2007, Frankie, Mollie, Una, Vanessa and Rochelle were all catapulted into the spotlight.
The girl band produced thirteen Top 10 hits and four Top 10 albums from ‘If This Is Love’ to ‘Higher’. They stuck together until 2014 when they went on hiatus.
In 2015, King confirmed a solo deal with Island Records. She released her debut solo single, ‘Back To You’ in 2016.

Her Relationship With Stuart Broad
Mollie King and England cricketer Stuart Broad have dated on and off after being introduced by mutual friends.
Now living together (and locked in for the current pandemic) the two are keeping themselves entertained.
After Laura Whitmore nominated Mollie in the ‘first photo’ challenge on Instagram, she posted this snap of the first photograph that her and Stuart took together.

Not only that, Mollie has also been keeping Stuart practising his cricket skills.
Stuart wrote on his Instagram page:
‘Competitive game of Garden Cricket. Well played @mollieking 🔥🏏.’

Strictly Come Dancing
In 2017, Mollie King took part in Strictly Come Dancing being partnered with professional AJ Pritchard.
Rumours swirled that the pair began dating during the show however, the two always denied the rumours, stating that they were just friends.

What Is She Up To Now?
Mollie King stepped into the world of radio in 2018, co-hosting BBC Radio 1 every Saturday alongside Matt Edmondson.
By September 2018, she was nominated for ‘Best New Presenter’ at the Audio & Radio Industry Awards.
From August 2019, she also presented Best New Pop on Friday mornings.
