Gregg Wallace Wife: Who Is Anne-Marie?
It’s been a busy year for Masterchef judge Gregg Wallace after he and his wife Anne-Marie welcomed their first child together last May. After struggling to conceive for two years, just before starting fertility treatment, Anne-Marie found out she was finally pregnant.
But who is Anne-Marie Sterpini and how did she meet her now-husband Greg? Let’s find out…
When Did Anne-Marie Meet Gregg?
Anne-Marie, a caterer, first made contact with Wallace over social media to discuss the use of ingredients. The 33-year-old tweeted Gregg to ask him if rhubarb really went with duck, after she saw him pair the two ingredients on a TV cooking show. After seeing her tweet, Gregg revealed:
“I just looked at Anna’s photo and thought, ‘Wow, she’s pretty’.
“So yes, rhubarb, which was considered an aphrodisiac in medieval times, brought us together.”
Speaking about when they started dating, Gregg said: “I sent her a message and we started sending messages. Then I sent her my phone number, this was five years ago.
“She came down to London to have dinner with me, and she said it wasn’t until we got to the restaurant, that she was comfortable it was really me and not an impostor.”
He added: “I think it’s just luck, and I got very lucky this time. Very lucky.”

Gregg revealed that at the time he was dating Anne-Marie, she was just 27, while he was 49 and although it never bothered his now-wife, he sometimes felt uncomfortable when people saw him holding her hand.
“People look at you anyway and I felt really conscious because she was younger, and I didn’t want people to judge her harshly. It was doing the ordinary things.”
When Did They Marry?
After meeting in 2013, the pair got engaged in 2014 and tied the knot in 2016 at Hever Castle in Kent. The weeding was an intimate affair, with only around 40 close friends in attendance. Of course, that included John Torode as Gregg’s best man.

The pair went on to honeymoon in Portofino, Italy after the wedding.
Who Else Has Gregg Been Married To?
In 1991 at the age of 24, Greg married his first wife Christine. The ceremony was impromptu and they celebrated accordingly with a meal in a pie and mash shop round the corner.
Their marriage lasted only six weeks and Gregg joked that it was “possibly the shortest marriage in the world”. Later, he admitted that he knew it was a mistake even before they tied the knot.

Denise: 1999-2004
Gregg met his pastry chef girlfriend Denise in 1993 and they welcomed their first child together, Tom, the year after. Their daughter Libby came in 1997, but the pair didn’t marry until 1999. After five years together, the couple divorced in 2004 after Denise found out that the TV chef was having an affair with an employee.
Heidi Brown: 2010-2011
The Masterchef star met his third wife on Twitter (in the same way as his fourth). Heidi Brown, a biology teacher, swapped numbers with Gregg on the social media platform and just four months later they were living in the same house, before marrying the year after.
Unfortunately, their marriage didn’t last long; they separated 15 months after tying the knot.
