Michelle Hardwick is expecting her first child

The Emmerdale star – who plays Vanessa Woodford in the ITV soap – has revealed her and her wife Kate Brooks are set to become first time mums as they are welcoming a baby in October.
She wrote on her Instagram story:
‘Fred’s big brother duties commence in October #BabyBrooks (sic)’.
She also posted the photo to her main Instagram account, adding the hashtag “#BabyBrooks” to her post.
Michelle has married Kate in September 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee, at the Chapel in the Woods, at the late, great Elvis Presley’s Graceland estate.
She wrote on Instagram:
‘In over 100 degrees heat, on Tuesday 10th September, I became Mrs Brooks #graceland #chapelinthewoods #memphis #nextstopnashville (sic)’.
Michelle – who wore a white jumpsuit for the occasion, whilst Kate donned a white dress – and Kate travelled for more than 200 miles to Nashville for their honeymoon, where they checked into the Hutton Hotel and were delighted to be upgraded.

Michelle tweeted:
‘Thank you so much for our bubbly and upgrade to a suite @HuttonHotel. All your staff have been delightful (sic)’.
Michelle revealed in December she had popped the question to Kate after “months of planning”.
She wrote on Twitter:
‘So after months of planning, I popped the question!!! She said yes!!! #loveislove #noordinaryproposal @katebrooks (sic)’.
When Michelle and Kate married, their only wedding guests were a “hotel maintenance guy” and his mother.
She shared:
‘He said, “Tuesday’s my day off, I’d love to come and watch and bring my momma!” We’ve just come out us two, not brought a soul with us, but we were so nice, like “That’s fine, yeah”, thinking it’s a few days away, he’s never gonna turn up in a million years.
‘Cut to Kate and I getting out of our lovely Cadillac that took us to Graceland. We got out and Erica, the wedding coordinator, and she was like “Girls, lovely to meet you, you look beautiful. Two of your friends are here”‘.
