Director Robert Rodriguez apparently saw no one else in the role other than Danny Trejo.
Since Spy Kids, Trejo has voice-acted for video games, he’s opened restaurants, he’s contributed to books… In fact, he’s done so much over the years, it’s hard to keep track.
