Like every relationship, the Bryants have gone through their fair share of rocky times. After the pair got engaged, it was revealed Kobe wouldn’t be asking Vanessa to sign a prenup; much to Kobe’s parents’ annoyance. His mother, Pam, could never accept her daughter-in-law simply for the fact she was too young, accusing the Latina model of being a ‘gold-digger’ & since Kobe & Vanessa’s marriage in 2001, Pam Bryant had a very strained relationship with her son – even up until his untimely death.
