Unfortunately – but not unsurprisingly – Noel was the first to be voted out of the show, but following his premature exit, it was revealed that he’d been paid £600,000 by ITV for his short stint on the show… not bad, at all!
Outside of TV, when it comes to his love life, Noel’s hit the hat-trick: he’s had three wives already – and that comes with a fair few kids too! His dating history is pretty impressive (and extensive), so we’re taking a look at his relationship timeline…
Gillian Slater – 1971
Noel married his first wife Gillian Slater in 1971 and was with her for 11 years, but unfortunately the marriage ended in divorce. Gilliam was a physiotherapist at the time the pair were together.

Helen Soby – 1986
After dating for a couple of years, Helen and Noel made this official and married in 1986.
Noel adopted Charlotte, who was Helen’s daughter from her former relationship and the pair went on the have three more daughters: Lorna, Olivia and Alice.

If the fact they have four kids wasn’t enough of a giveaway, Noel has previously bragged about their ‘plentiful’ sex life:
‘I’ve a very attractive wife and I want to be able to enjoy all aspects of her. I don’t play much sport, but make love for Britain.’
The pair lived together in a 35 bedroom mansion (which is also a farm) in Devon.

They Ended Up Divorcing…
Sadly, things weren’t meant to last forever for Noel and Helen and the pair ended their marriage in 2003. Reports emerged that Helen had been unfaithful to Noel with her Pilates instructor. He was Stuart Lord who is believed to be a bisexual transvestite.
Although rumours spread that the breakdown of their marriage for because of infidelity, Noel claims that their marriage was over before any reports came to light.
In 2006, he told The Daily Mirror:
‘Helen and I decided to separate in 2003 and I started divorce proceedings – though I’ll never talk about the reasons. We planned to have as amicable a divorce as possible.
‘I do feel sorry for Helen, I had chosen that we would get to the point where we were legally divorced before I would have a relationship with anybody. But it was portrayed that her relationship was the reason we split and it’s so unfair. Who she has a relationship with now is her business, not mine.’

Although Liz is 20 years younger than Noel, he managed to woo her by a series of lavish dates, which included luxury holidays abroad. The pair have now been married for 11 years and the TV presenter has two step sons from Lisa’s previous marriage, joining Noel Edmonds’ Daughters Charlotte, Olivia, Lorna and Alice.
