What is Emma Willis’ age?

Emma Louise Willis – born Emma Griffiths – was born on 18th March 1976, hence making her 46 years old.

She originally thought that she would follow in her mother’s footsteps and work for the NHS. What she didn’t know was that her mum had in fact sent some photos of her to a modelling agency and she was accepted!

Her modelling career spanned various companies and magazines, including Marie Claire, Elle, GAP, Chanel and Vogue.

How did she get into TV?

In 2002 she accepted a job to work as a presenter for MTV.

From that she managed to get other presenting work for the likes of Loose Women and This Morning, but it wasn’t until she hosted I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here Now! that her career really took off.

Emma has been the host of The BRIT Awards alongside Dermot O’Leary; Reality Bites with Stephen Mulhern; and Prized Island, co-hosted with Reggie Yates.

Her most well known presenting work is as the host of Big Brother, Celebrity Big Brother, Big Brother’s Bit on the Side and Big Brother’s Little Brother.

That’s not the only reality show she has presented! In 2019, she replaced Maya Jama and Alice Levine as the host of The Circle.

She also replaced Holly Willoughby on the BBC One, and later ITV, show, The Voice UK and The Voice Kids.

However, she states that her favourite TV job was on W’s series Delivering Babies.

In an interview, she said:

‘Training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital was such an amazing experience, so I am absolutely delighted to be returning again this year!

‘Training to be an MCA was a real eye opener so I can’t wait to see what they’ve got in store for me over the coming weeks. I loved being part of so many wonderful memories for families last year, so it will be great to meet up with some of them and see how they’re getting on’.

What was Emma Willis’ age when she got married?

Emma got married to Matt Willis on July 5th, 2008, when she was 32.

She met her Busted bassist husband Matt Willis when she worked for MTV.

Their relationship initially got off to a rocky start as Matt went to rehab for drug and alcohol abuse just three months after they started dating.

Talking to the Daily Express, she revealed:

‘I wasn’t going to leave him because he had a problem.

‘I wanted to help him, but he had to help himself and I believed he would’.

Emma and Matt have three children together. Their oldest daughter, Isabelle Catherine, was born in June 2009. The couple’s only son, Ace Billy, was born in November 2011. Finally, their youngest child, Trixie Grace, was born in May 2016.

Emma believes that it is their children who helped her husband fully recover from his addictions, stating:

‘What really changed him was our daughter, Isabelle. Isabelle was his real… Oh God, I’m going to start crying

‘Isabelle was his real focus. He was already doing it [recovery] himself, then she arrived and that made him even more determined’.

The couple renewed their wedding vows in 2018; with her former co-host Stephen Mulhern officiating the ceremony!

All of the female guests were invited to wear wedding dresses – and many did! Including Rochelle Humes and Giovanna Fletcher.

Matt’s former McBusted band mates, James Bourne, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter, Harry Judd and Tom Fletcher all played at the wedding reception.

It’s been estimated that Emma’s net worth is £2 million.
