Stacey Solomon age might only be 30, but she’s already got 3 kids (and counting) …
Stacey Solomon age is 30 now, but we were first introduced to her when she starred on the The X Factor at just aged 20. Stace was actually already a Mum when she was on the show, welcoming her first child at the tender age of 17.
Always one to be open and honest with her feelings, she shared the shame she felt as a teen mum with her fellow Loose Ladies:

“I always felt the stigma [more] of being a young mum and any of those doubts that me alone wasn’t enough for my child came from within rather than from anybody else.”

“I felt that I personally attacked myself and and didn’t believe in myself enough to raise children. I was more conscious of people thinking ‘look at that kid with a kid.’ I don’t even know if people knew if I was a single parent or not.”
Just four years after welcoming her first child, she found herself expecting her next, this time with ex- fiancé, Aaron Barnham. Stacey was just 21 when she welcomed her second son, Leighton.

This sparked even more moral conflict within Stace, who admitted to feeling a burden to society:
“I always have an overwhelming sense of guilt that if I were to make my family greater, that I would impact on them socially and emotionally.”
“There’s definitely been times in my life where I’ve felt the stigma of having multiple children from different partners.”
Then She Met Joe…
30-year-old Stacey has two other children from previous relationships, while Joe also has an 11-year-old son Harry from his engagement to Emma Sophocleous.
Thanks to the potential judgement and backlash starting a family with a third man would spark, Stacey almost ruled out starting a family with Joe:
“A lot of people make you feel bad about having different children to different people. It doesn’t seem that bad, but it’s hard for people to digest and they think it’s unfair on the kids.”

Back in 2017, she admitted that starting a family with Joe was just a mere thought:
“[Joe and I] talk about it. But briefly. Joe’s got his boy and I’ve got mine. The boys love Joe. It’s just doing what’s right for the children rather than what we selfishly want.”
Just a year later, the pair announced their happy pregnancy news (which was suitably on Loose Women, where Stacey works as a panelist), Joe revealed:
“We’ve both got children. It feels like we’ve got two different lives at times. This child will tie up the families. Your kids and my kids will be part of one big family.”

Stacey And Joe: A Relationship Timeline
The couple actually met back in 2010 when Stacey was crowned Queen of the jungle, where Swash was presenting the spin-off show. Just two years previously Joe had won the show for himself, giving the pair something in common before they’d even met.
In January 2016 Stacey and Joe were spotted together, arm-in-arm, out and about in Essex. Later on that month, the pair went Instagram official (which in this day and age feels like a big move).

Stace shared a loved- up pic with her new squeeze, gushing:
“It’s going really well… We’re having fun, spending time together and getting to know each other.”
A few months later, Joe got down on one knee, but not quite how you’d expect. Whilst appearing on Keith Lemon’s Celebrity Juice, Swash popped the question, but all for the cameras. Stace admits she was inundated with congratulations the following day, so she decided to take it as a pre-proposal.

The pair’s second TV appearance came when they landed a role presenting the I’m A Celeb spin-off show alongside each other, as well as Vicky Pattinson and Chris Ramsey.
Rumours continued to build, with Stacey admitting she was so keen to get engaged, that she’d even take a text proposal! Just a quick one…

“I think any kind of proposal is great. I’ll take a text. That’s a great idea. All the pressure’s gone, just send a little message.”
In October of last year, the pair finally took the plunge and moved in together, of course, along with her two sons.

It didn’t take long for the pair to get busy in their new bedroom, with their baby news coming only a few months later, in February 2019. Joe shared the news on his social media with a funny caption:
“Have been driving myself mad thinking that she’s bored senseless of me and can’t stand to be awake for longer than 10 minutes of my company… So you can imagine my delight to find out that she still loves me and my company very much she’s just been growing a baby.”
And that wasn’t all…
“I can’t begin to describe how happy we are to be able to share this wonderful news. We’ve been so blessed with 3 incredible children that we’ve had the privilege of raising and we are forever grateful to have the chance to become parents to another wonderful child. It’s all very overwhelming and emotional and we couldn’t be happier right now.”
Baby- brain was clearly playing havoc with Stace, as her announcement was notably less wordy:

Tbf, he did the talking for her!
They welcomed baby Rex on May 23rd of this year, with joe breaking the news on Stacey’s Insta, with a caption cute enough to reduce us to tears:

The arrival of their little boy has made their already full house, even fuller. Along with Stacey’s other to boys, and Joe’s son from a previous relationship, Stacey is outnumbered!
