Every Prime Minister probably wishes they could tell their political contacts where to go if they don’t agree with them – which, of course, Hugh Grant did with the President of the United States – but Tony Blair was quick to say how unrealistic that was.
He commented that many people wished he’d follow in Hugh Grant’s footsteps, but it simply wasn’t going to happen. We don’t watch Love Actually for political strategy though, do we?
