18. Chris Farley Originally Voiced The Ogre
The acting legend from Saturday Night Live fame was cast to play the voice of Shrek. He had already recorded about 90% of the movie before his tragic death.
Mike Myers then took over, and was left re-recording everything – first in a Canadian accent, and then in the final Scottish choice.
