Sarah Whittle, the classic girl next door who’s dating the bully of the kid who likes her… and subsequently turned into the town nutjob after said kid disappeared into thin air (y’know, that old chestnut), was played by Bonnie Hunt. Hunt has played dozens of roles since her Jumanji days, starring in films like Jerry Maguire, The Green Mile, and Cheaper by the Dozen.
