And last but not least, possibly the most adorable star of Love, Actually, little Sam. At the beginning of the film we see Sam at his mothers funeral, and being left in the care of his stepdad Daniel.

What really brought Sam and Daniel together, in the end, is Sam’s crush on the new American girl in school and the fact he has absolutely no idea what to do about it. Sam ends up learning the drums to perform in the school musical (because what woman doesn’t love a musician!?) and then chases her down in the airport in order to kiss her before she jets off with her mum in possibly one of the sweetest, most romantic displays in the entire movie. You go Sam!
