Despite the fact that Makatsch was once in a seven-year relationship with Daniel Craig (!!!) she is now very happily married to German theater, film and television actor Trystan Wyn Pütter. She also has three daughters, born in 2007, 2009 and 2015, two with Max Martin Schröder from German indie band Tomte and Der Hund Marie.
