The Love Island star left the villa after Curtis, who is now dating fellow islander Maura Higgins, dumped her, but there were no hard feelings on the red carpet despite an initial “awkward” moment.
Speaking at the ITV Palooza at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Tuesday night (12.11.19), she exclusively told BANG Showbiz:
‘It was fine, we’re alright. I waved at him twice and he didn’t see me.
‘I was like, “Well, this is awkward,” and then he saw, and then he was like, ‘”I didn’t see you.”
‘But, yeah, he’s looking good, he’s happy – we’re all happy, everyone’s happy, so it’s fine’.

The 26-year-old star admits that it can be hard for couples to adjust to life outside the villa, after several split following their villa romances earlier this summer.
She said:
‘It’s sad, like I always said the biggest test is when you come out of the villa because when you’re in there you’ve got the same work schedule – bean bag in the morning, day bed in the afternoon, fire pit in the evening – but when you come out, you’ve got different friends, different work schedules and stuff, it is harder’.
Amy also admitted she “wouldn’t change anything” about her dramatic Love Island exit, in which she left the show early after being dumped by Curtis.
She said:
‘I’ve watched my exit, and I cried my eyes out. I knew what was gonna happen and I still cried. But I wouldn’t change anything, no.
‘The thing is, when you’re in there you have no sense of reality, you’ve got no grasp of what’s actually going on for weeks. But leaving my friends was horrendous’.
