She also revealed to the The Sun that her parents were eager for her to take part:
‘I think it’s completely terrifying but it’s also a brilliant show to watch, so I don’t know. My kids would love me to do it, I don’t know what that says.’
Kate’s husband Derek Draper recently went on Good Morning Britain with their two children to show his support for his wife during her time in the jungle.

1. Kate Garraway’s Good Morning Britain 50th Birthday
Kate was surprised live on Good Morning Britain by her two children Darcey, 11, and Billy, 7 to celebrate her turning 50. The presenter was mid-way through a usual broadcast when she was joined by two very special guests.
Kate was initially shocked to see her kids on the monitor, asking co-host Ben Shepard:
‘When did you record that?’
To which, Ben replied:
‘Well, it’s interesting you say “record” because it’s not actually being recorded…’

A flabbergasted Kate was lost for words when her two children, joined by Kate’s own mum and dad came into the studio.
To wish her a heartfelt happy birthday, her co-hosts also joined in the fun, bringing with them a ginormous pair of pink knickers with the words ‘Happy 50th Birthday Kate’ printed on them in bold. This was in honour of Kate’s latest book ‘The Joy Of Big Knickers’, a humorous insight into ageing.

2. Kate Garraway’s Good Morning Britain Dress
The presenter never fails to look effortlessly glam in spite of her early morning starts. Kate also proves that yellow is certainly not just a summer colour as she brought glammer to Good Morning Britain in her mustard yellow frock.
The £85 dress was paired with a leopard print belt and matching high heels.

3. When Her Phone Started Ringing Live On Air
Kate’s phone blunder live on Good Morning Britain will go down in history. Poor Kate appeared to still be in holiday mode when her phone started ringing live on air, cutting off Piers Morgan.
She abruptly apologised and hurried to switch it off. It goes to show, we’re all just human!

4. Kate Flashing Ben Shepard and Susanna Reid Live On Air
Okay, maybe not quite flashing. It turns out that underneath her jacket, Kate was hiding a One Direction t-shirt, now with just the remaining four members of boyband One Direction (minus Zayn Malik).
Ben and Susanna couldn’t quite contain their surprise when Kate started undoing the buttons of her top to reveal the faces of Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles.
