Vogue Williams’ Height, Age, Career and Personal Life
As a model, it’s a surprise that Vogue Williams’ height isn’t reliably recorded. In fact, there are many mysteries surrounding the Irish model turned TV personality. Not even her birthday is recorded as the same everywhere!
So why IS Vogue Williams’ height so disputed?
Find out all about Vogue’s dancing competition stint, personal life and career. Spanning modelling, acting and even quantity surveying, there’s a lot more to the TV personality than meets the eye.
Vogue Williams’ Height (A.K.A Mrs Matthews)
We’d love to give you an exact number, but it seems the Irish model doesn’t seem too sure herself! There are quite strict ‘recommendations’ on model measurements in this country:
“The British Association of Model Agents (AMA) says that female models should be around 34″-24″-34″ and between 5 ft 8 in (173 cm) and 5 ft 11 in (180 cm) tall.”
Depending on your source, Vogue Williams height is:
Wikipedia: 5ft 8in (178cm)
Healthy Celeb: 5ft 10½in (179cm)
MiLK Management: 5ft 11in (180.5cm)
So either Mrs Matthews is a shapeshifter or, probably more likely, a little cagey about her height. Interestingly, she has herself stated that she is 5ft 11in, so we can assume that Vogue Williams’ height is probably most accurate coming from the lady herself!
Vogue Williams’ Height & Her Varying Career
If Vogue’s own statement about her height is to be trusted, it’s not surprise the tall TV personality is a model. Did you know she is also qualified in quantity surveying? She studied Construction Design and Management at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. Her stepfather Neil Wilson is a property developer, so insisted she study something similar.
She’s not the only model to have found skills in other areas, just like glamour model-turned fitness guru and new mum Gemma Atkinson!
In 2010 Ms Williams (at the time) starred in Irish reality show Fade Street, following the ‘real’ lives of five Irish women in their twenties living in Dublin. From here, she appeared in the 12th series of Australia’s Dancing with the Stars back in 2012. Sadly she and professional dance partner Christopher Page were voted off very early on, being only the third couple to leave the competition.
While Vogue Williams’ height may have been a hindrance to her dancing abilities, she persevered and took part in Stepping Out in 2013. She and then-husband Brian McFadden finished the ITV celebrity dancing competition in second place.
Pushing herself even further, she participated in ITV’s Bear Grylls: Mission Survive in 2015 and won the competition.
2017 was a busy one for Vogue, as she appeared on Loose Women alongside fellow panellists Coleen Nolan, Ruth Langsford and others. She was due to compete in winter sports competition The Jump on Channel 4 in the same year, but sadly had to quit the competition after sustaining an injury.
Williams did, however, still win something from the experience…
Vogue Williams’ Height & Her Personal Life
Slightly less contentious than trying to find accurate information on how tall she is, her age seems to stay the same from all sources. Williams is 34 years old, born in Portmarnock, Ireland on 2nd October 1985. Or sometimes she was born on 3rd October 1985, again it depends where you look!
Ms Williams became Mrs Matthews in June 2018 when she married 31-year-old Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews. Matthews is her second husband, as she and her first husband singer Brian McFadden of Westlife fame divorced in 2015 after three years of marriage. She now lives with Spencer and their young son Theodore and recently celebrated his first birthday.
Spencer & Mrs Matthews Height Difference
At 5ft 11ins, she is marginally taller than her husband. But does Vogue Williams’ height affect their relationship? Seemingly not! She’s not afraid to wear a good heel and tower above her reality star husband in front of plenty of cameras and paparazzi. Now that’s a strong couple!
Body Confidence
Vogue Williams’ Height & Weight: Silencing Body Shamers
She’s also keen to fight body shamers, having faced online trolling about her weight and chest size. Vogue Williams’ height and weight are healthy, as she has shared on social media to try and silence the shamers. She also had this to say when a troll messaged her to say she should get breast enhancements after posting a bikini picture:
“I don’t think it’s right to pass comment on anyone’s appearance. There is too much of it going on, everyone’s body is beautiful and unique. I’m over the days of wishing I looked like someone else or wishing I was a different size, the list goes on. I am happy just the way I am.”
The model turned social media and TV personality certainly knows how to make a point!
Her royal claim-to-fame is slightly tenuous. Spencer’s brother James Matthews married Pippa Middleton back in 2017, who we all know is the Duchess of Cambridge’s little sister. So Vogue’s husband’s brother’s wife’s sister’s husband is born royalty… maybe we need a chart for that!
Mrs Matthews’ Height
What Does The Future Hold?
So what is Vogue Williams up to now? Like any other good TV personality and reality star, she’s busy promoting products on social media! Mrs Matthews does use her fame to promote charitable causes, recently attending the Specsavers Awards. She posted this cute snap with hubby Spencer:
“Another great year for the @specsavers Awards. Lots of money made for the @kidscape_charity which is such an incredible charity. Thanks for having us and congrats on a fab evening ❤️ #loveglasses #ad”
She’s not the only celeb who loves a good pair of Specsavers!
All we know is we’re still waiting for their promised E4 show Spencer ad Vogue: Adult(ish)!
Vogue Williams Height Spells Trouble?
It looks as though the pair are considering moving to New York as well! Let’s hope Vogue Williams height can compete with other models across the pond… With top American models such as Karlie Kloss and Michelle Buswell measuring over 6ft, she’s got some tall competition!
