TOWIE star Lydia Bright’s Instagram is full of pics of her celebrating her pregnancy! She revealed she was expecting to her 1.1 million followers earlier this year in August. And the 29 year old also shared how excited she is to be a mum on her Podcast We are The Brights.

Lydia Bright’s Instagram Baby Gender Reveal
Lydia was given the gender of her baby in a sealed envelope after a scan. But she didn’t share the news until her gender reveal party in September.
At a party in her parent’s garden in Essex, Lydia found out she was having a baby girl in front of family and friends, including Lucy Mecklenburgh, who is also expecting!
HELLO! Magazine captured the moment when she found out, by guests answering questions to reveal a code for a chest full of pink helium balloons.

Lydia is so excited to be having a baby girl. She said that she’s going to have a very girly girl, and that her nursery will be all pink.
She’s Going To Be A Single Mum
Sadly, Lydia Bright and the baby’s father, Paul Cronin, have split. Lydia has said that the pregnancy was planned when the couple were still together.

Lydia told Hello! Magazine keeping the pregnancy secret has been really hard, and that she never expected to be pregnant and alone. She said her future hasn’t “worked out exactly how I wanted”.
Lydia commented that they broke up because “beg somebody to be with me, and I can’t beg somebody to love me”. Uh oh!
But Lydia Is Ready To Be a Mum
Speaking about becoming a parent, Lydia said:
“I’ve done so much travelling, I’ve done all my partying holidays, I’m where I want to be in terms of my life, financially and career-wise. It just feels like the right time for it all to happen for me.”
“I know this baby will be the best thing that has ever happened to me”.
But it’s unlikely her new baby will have to worry about money – the star has been doing very well for herself. She has three clothing collections and regularly appears on TV.
Lydia Bright launched her own Youtube channel in 2013. She makes celebrity looks for less with high street bargains for her viewers. She also blogs and vlogs about her life. She’s even been a judge for blogging competitions for magazines, and released her first book “Live, Laugh, Love, Always, Lydia”, in 2017. So while she’s not pulling in cash like fellow TOWIE star Gemma Collins, she’s doing very well for herself!

Lydia Bright’s Instagram story shared a video of her 20-week scan. But her baby girl wouldn’t get into the right position and she had to do exercises to get her moving! She captioned it with “Trying to get this bubba moving,” “Stubborn like her mother,” and “20 weeks.” Poor Lydia!

When Will She Give Birth?
Lydia Bright’s Instagram revealed that she’s due to give birth on 25th February 2020. She shared a throwback snap of the day she found out she was pregnant.
Lydia told her family she was expecting with handwritten cards signed from “Baby Cronin”.
Lydia Was Pregnant At Rio Ferdinand’s Wedding
Pregnant Lydia flew to Turkey to attend the wedding of Kate Wright and Rio Ferdinand, close friends. She even brought her mum as her plus one! About the trip, Lydia said:
“Ibiza tomorrow for my besties wedding,”.
“This trip to Ibiza is certainly going to be different to this time last year on the island. No strawberry daiquiris, no raving all night and certainly no abs.”
