There have been rumours that it might not happen this year, but I can happily confirm that OF COURSE it’s happening! Can you imagine a life otherwise?
And what’s more, the boss of ITV has actually said she hopes the show will run for another five years or more (and if she says it, it’s got to be true, right?). She commented that there’re a million ways to go with the show, that it can still “evolve, live and breathe” and she’s right – there’s so much more you can do with a group of bikini-clad youngsters in a swanky villa, after all. You can never get enough of that sort of telly.
So we don’t have to worry about it being taken off our screens any time soon (can I get a hallelujah?).
