She Aspired To Become A PE Teacher
If she wasn’t gracing our Saturday night TV screens, Alesha admitted she’d probably be some rather different: a PE teacher. After excelling at sport in school, the now-star set her sights on teaching on the playing fields.
“I was really good at sports and pretty bossy – the perfect combination. I even did a diploma in sports studies.”
PE’s loss is DEFINITELY our gain.

Not Forgetting Her ‘Britain’s Sexist Legs’ Title
With a long list of achievements to her name, in 2009, Alesha also added the title of Britain’s Sexiest Legs to her accolades. After her success on Strictly – a show that’s recognised for honing its contestant’s pins – Alesha earned the not-so-prestigious title.
But get this – she fought off competition from Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell AND Cheryl Cole to bag the title. Pretty impressive!

Alesha Admits To Obsessive Behaviour
When she’s not judging, singing, dancing or presenting, Alesha admits to spending her time cleaning.
She confesses:
“My friends call me Monica because she’s the one in Friends who’s obsessed with cleaning. I always think the house looks messy; a messy house can depress me. It can make me feel messy. If my house is clean and everything is in order, I feel better.”

She Been Through Tough Times
Although Alesha always dons a smile on her face, she revealed that she has suffered from depression after the break-up of her marriage with So So Crew’s MC Harvey. Afterwards, she spoke of her:
“It was the lowest point of my life. I just kept thinking, ‘What have I done to deserve this?’ I didn’t see the point in living.”

She’s Writes Children’s Books
Following suit from her fellow Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams, Alesha has written a series of books aimed at young girls. According to the TV judge, the heroine of her books is Aurora Beam – a young superhero.
Alesha said that she wants to “create a strong female character who young girls and boys can hopefully be inspired by and look up to”.

The Singer’s A Philanthropist
A what? Well, a philanthropist is just a fancy word for someone who lends their time (and donates their money) to charitable causes.
Alesha is a patron of the African-Caribbean Leukaemia Trust, she’s climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania for Comic Relief and she supports many animal rights charities. In other words, she’s an all round good egg, but we knew that anyway!

She’s Likes A ‘Boring’ Sex Life
When it comes to bedroom antics, Alesha reveals that she’s very traditional, admitting that she’d “probably bore the pants off” of people.
“Fair play to women if they want to empower themselves or want to go out and buy all their little sex toys. Not my cup of tea personally… I like my serious relationships. I have a healthy sex life and I don’t need any tools,” she says.
